I am a 45 year old Caucasian female that uses this product on my hair. I like the way this product moisturizes my hair when I add a very small amount to my towel dried hair 🙂
Thanks for the review, I've never tried any Carol's Daughter products and I'm scared 😳 to put any silicones in my hair. But your hair is really thriving and growing 💯I'm glad you noticed the problem areas a head of time so you could treat it before things got out of hand👸🏾
I wouldn't be scared of trying Carol's Daughter! I plan on doing a good bit of reviews from them soon. I have quite a few of those products in my stash. Maybe you'll find something that you'' be interested in trying.
I'm happy to buy carol's daughter products today for my birthday and better health and care for my low porosity 4C hair. Cantu products was not working for me despite the great prices because they made my hair very dry, stripped out, and breaking alot during each wash.
I'm glad I watched this review because I've Been saying for so long silicones are not good for your hair if used regularly as it just sits on the hair makes it feel soft for couple days then it goes dry and feels like straw ..I stopped using silicone based Products about 2 years ago and my hair is in amazing condition ..I use the keracare leave in with the hair milk and my hair is so soft for Days 😊
Hey Minks! I thought your hair turned out nice. And I agree with you, the new wetline does not have the same hold; I've been saying that for a while now. During Black Friday, I bought some products with silicones because I wanted to review them for my channel, but I also bought a lot of clarifiers to make sure I clean them off my hair, as well. Like you, I'm willing to try them, but I prefer not to use them regularly. Great video!
Your hair turned out cute! I don't know if I've ever tried like a cream leave in from Carol's Daughter before so I might try one, one of these days. Curious to see which products with silicones you like as well 👀
Loved this information, you little cutie. Carol's Daughter Goddess line; it's a NO for me. It flakes with everything, it balls up and curdles with my favorite styling products, and the glycerin sucks the moisture from my hair within hours. My Holy Grail, however, is their Mimosa Hair Honey. It's the only "O" I use in my L.C.O. method. I gave everything else to my granddaughter. :) Keep up the great work. I subscribed with you today and can't wait to see what's up. :)
Thanks so much for watching and for joining the Kinky crew family 💛 you'll love it here! I've never tried the mimosa hair honey, but I've heard nothing but good things. It has a grease texture right?
@@MinksKinks I do! I shampoo, deep condition, use my leave-in of choice, then the mimosa hair honey to seal. When you emulsify the oil, it turns clear and smooth. I finish up with Smooth Naturals Hair Perfection. It's a glycerin-free, aloe based styler, which my hair requires. Adding the mimosa hair honey changed my game. (Go light though, a little goes a long way). It has allowed me to use only the Hair Perfection as my one-and-done. I literally get 7 days moisture and hydration, but my hair thrives and prefers to be shampooed 2x week for maximum growth. I'd love to see you try the hair honey (and Smooth Naturals Hair Perfection) and see what it does for your hair, cuz I'm nosey! I don't know how it works on low porosity hair, but it does seem to work nicely on my low porosity bits. :)
I like the Shampoo & Conditioner of this specific line, but I feel like Carols Daughter all together is a hit or miss. Like they have good products but not all of them are great.
Hey girl! Your hair turned out really nice. I like the definition braid outs give but they are a pain to take down.🤦🏽♀️ I don't mind silicone in my products although I have kinda stayed from using them as I have been trying all these new products. They actually help my high porosity hair out retaing moisture etc. I've never tried this Carol's Daughter line, come to think of it I have only tried a couple of products from the brand and that was a long time ago. 🤔 Thanks for sharing!😉
They definitely can such taking them down, but for me they are working. I’m excited to experiment with the silicones because I’ve really only tried them here and there. Thanks for coming by 🥳
I ain't even gone lie after trying this product line from the vanilla shampoo, vanilla conditioner and vanilla leave in conditioner I'm looking for Carol and her daughter's. They owe me some money. This is TRASH. When i was younger i had real bad dandruff and decided to buy myself some selsum blue. This dried my hair out the exact same way 🤣. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE
@@MinksKinksI’m looking for a leave-in conditioner, what are your current favorites? Also, thanks for such a great thorough review of this conditioner.

I’m glad it works for you! It was great or terrible for me 😬
My 4c hair has been thriving with this line❣️

Yeah, I think it’s best to use them occasionally. Thanks for watching 💓

Thank you so much 💛 definitely down to try but I’m here for a good time lol, not a long time with the silicones! Appreciate ya watching ✨

@@MinksKinks A grease texture that melts into a wonderful smooth, almost liquid consistency. A little goes a LONG way. :)
@@twomisfithippies9790 interesting, do you use it like a oil?

Can males with curly hair use this ?
Yup, the products aren’t made specifically for women 😭
Is this brand good for moisturizing or protein?
They have different lines for different needs. This line in particular is more strengthening.
Great video I’m glad you finally tried the leave in I like using it with the kinky curly I would get great results with those two.
Hmmm, I have that in my stash too and haven’t tried it. I need to give that combo a try.
@@MinksKinks please do I will say it’s more of a spring summer combo which is nice because we are almost there
The shineeeeee🤩
No, shout out to you girl ❤️
💛
Can't really see your hair. Black top and you're in front of a black cabinet. With your hair being black, your hair disappears.
Yup, realized that after filming! It’s been corrected in my newer content!
Maybe you need glasses

😂😂😂 OMG I haven’t tried that vanilla lime in years! This product has definitely grown on me but I’m not sure it’ll be a repurchase
