I rented a model Y from SIXT when holidaying in Brisbane recently, I could not get the RFID card to work. So it was quite frustrating. It was a good thing that I didn’t really need to charge and so am still able to use the car throughout the rental period.
Hi Gilbert. Thanks for your great sharing. I'm planning a trip down to perth in may, and i have 3 adults, 2 kiddos which will require a child seat each. The way i see it, i should be having about 2 L size luggages, 1M and maybe 2 cabin ones. Do you think all of that can fit the Model Y? I personally drive a Honda Civic in SG, so there are many who have told me the transition to EV will take me some time. One thing about Tesla is most told me if i decelerate, the car will feel like a sudden brake. I too plan to stay in perth city for a few days before going down to busselton / MR.
There are a lot more chargers on the East coast of Australia where you don’t need to plan much at all. However as soon as go inland yes you do have to plan carefully.
Oh thanks for the heads up! in fact I know what you talking about when I was using the plug share app as well and I wasn't too worried as well. in fact I wanted to go Albany but the drive is a little too much for my children and seem like charging can be a little challenging as well. = )
