  • This week Olly's had a bit of frost, but thankfully the OSR flowers appear to have survived.
Carrying on from last week, in part 2 of the report from ‪@fenlandfarmingadventures4241‬ we hear about their planting activities and concerns.
Stephen is with the Royal Lancashire Show Sheep Secretary Nic and his pig farming mad fiancée Grace, who tell us how their lambing season has gone so far.
Rob from Blackdown Farm Services tells us more about a forthcoming Machinery Auction. Watch his full video @MachineryMan

Liking the wood sides on the polytunnel. To be fair, the net sides on ours lasted a while but wood would have been better from the beginning.

The polytunnel is just great. I noticed some Galereaker drawn back one end but the other end could do with some just i case of storm blow out.

It's interesting because I lived in Spain for 6 years & if the price was low for grapes, oranges, almonds etc the farmers would just leave them to rot and didn't bother picking them, that then had the knock on effect of making the price jump because supplies were low - tough decisions but it worked well for them

As a livestock farmer, I'm hoping either feed prices reduce or milk price increases.

I hope the milk prices increase mate I do I did mean to say I think one side I’d like to see the feed prices go up but lots of cattle and pig farmers I deal with would like to see price go down. I really hope milk prices go up Robert seems criminal to me
