    I am so glad I found your channel! I had been using Keynote for ages without realizing I was not using more than 20% of its potential. After watching your tutorials and masterclasses I am doing so much more and am even recording my screencasts in it. Thanks a lot!

    Just came across your channel today and going on a Crazy One binge! Curious 👀… how can i put video character (myself no background) holding a large trash bag and catching (in the bag) a moving title where the dot on the “i” rolls off and I catch it? Sorry if this has been done similarly or too many requests. Enjoy and even I don’t understand why I love graphics so much?

    Hi! This channel is really good, the way you explain (including the failed attempts) and the chapters time. Thank you! I just miss the opportunity to access the template you create - is there a chance to share?
    And I have also a topic to suggest: how to create masks using fonts? Is there a way without leaving Keynote?

      Troy McDonald It’s called Mouse Pro. It’s a cheap app in the App Store and the developer is super responsive on making changes and updates. I love it.

      @@stephengates5484 Stephen, I just got Pro Mouse and it works fine but I have not been able to make its features appear in a recording made in Keynote. Zoom, Spotlight, etc appear on the screen but not on the recording. Would happen to know what I should do to make it happen? By the way, I am Mac OS Mojave. Thanks.

    • @StephenGates

      I am running Catalina so don't know if that might be the problem. How are you doing the screen recording? I might also reach out to the developer here -> www.alecsummers.com/portfolio/pro-mouse-for-mac/

    Hi Stephen, Great videos! thanks for all the time and energy you put into them. My question is did you use Keynote to make your intro ?

    • @StephenGates
      @StephenGates  4 года назад

      I did not. That was done using some old skills in After Effects where I started with a template from Envato and heavily customized it.

  • @chupacabra9957
    @chupacabra9957 3 года назад

    Hi, thanks for your brilliant tutorials, they're extremely helpful and inspiring. I really love the intro to your videos. Did you make it with keynote either or was it some other program? Can you make a tutorial on that nsort of animation? :)

    • @StephenGates
      @StephenGates  3 года назад

      That animation was done in After Effects and is more complex than what Keynote would be able to handle. But I may add that to the list of tutorials in the works!

    Really glad i found your channel! One problem im having is a judder/stutter when converting my keynote into a movie and playing it on my smart tv, particularly the slide transitions but it doesnt seem to happen when i use transitions in final cut pro.. have you experienced this at all? Thank you!

    • @StephenGates
      @StephenGates  4 года назад +1

      I do have that problem with screen recordings of keynote done through MacOS. I see it when I review those recording or try and work with them in Premier Pro. I have found that converting the format helps as there is something with the Quicktime compression that seems to cause the problem. If I convert it to an MP4 through Adobe Media Encoder then it seems to fix the problem.

      It is something you could do as an animation but making an interactive game would be too complicated for Keynote.
