Stone is the one with the deep safety skills and 7 INTs in the exact position you guys just cut in Diggs. Playing McKinney deep a lot would be kinda odd and not conducive to what he does best. And reuniting him with a teammate in a scheme neither has played in is more important than bringing in someone who just had success for your new HC at a position you truly need?

TB I'm with you 110% - Geno Stone and Patrick Queen. I'd trade down in the first round to pick up a second round. I think JS and MM are going to revamp and revitalize the defense. Hopefully we can pick up a future franchise QB.
However you feel about the players we are releasing you have to at least acknowledge that the front office is not messing around and being complacent. They have a whole new coaching staff with a whole new style that they want to create. If we did nothing with personnel in off season i would not be excited at all for the new year. That being said, Ill miss all these guys and hope they can ball out somewhere else!

I don’t hate on Adam’s. It was just frustrating given he was never on the field and for what Sea gave up it’s just one of those trades that went very wrong for Sea. Luckily they had the Wilson trade because trades like that can really kill your franchise

Any more news on the eagles? Jason kelce retired yesterday and I’m still sad about it. Wish he got another ring man. He did say he still wants to stick around with the organization so hopefully he can coach like the oline in the future and get his other ring as a coach.
Not that I know of. Definitely still sad for the end of the Kelce era. Excited to see what Cam Jurgens and Steen can do if they get the call to go full time center and RG, respectively.

The talent of this team is equal to the legion of boom, but they have to be handled in a totally different way, Pete was great with them and they were so motivated that he just had to support them, this team needs to be motivated to be at their highest potential!!!! The pass was the end of Pete Carroll and the dumbest call in NFL history, and he caved in to Russell Wilson or he never would have been so incredibly disgraced by the crushing loss that was the defense and running game of that team and it is still painful for us fans

Probably want to see if Mike MacDonald wants to play a high draft pick corner at the Nickel, as his defense isn't like the previous one. A lot of the stuff Witherspoon was doing was done by Kyle Hamilton. Their nickel defender actually played a ton of man coverage in the slot and didn't blitz and get hidden in zone.
