Tuomas can thank Tarja for making Nightwish a symphonic metal band. Without Tarja they’d be an acoustic band. Tarja showed they were better than that and songs needed the power and energy they had.
@@manoelviana2603 You’re the uninformed one. He was going to do an acoustic (maybe metal than folk, etc) band. But Tarja’s powerful voice changed that thinking and he and Empu changed from acoustic guitar to electric guitar to get that powerful sound they had in the early days. Tarja inspired that Nightwish sound. Tuomas may already have had his orchestral interests those early days, but Tarja’s voice was a big influence to him. As for singing Nightwish songs, they have the rights they can sing their era songs. Check Geoff Tate/ Queensryche ruling.
@@manoelviana2603 Nightwish exists as a symphonic metal band due to Tarja. The band may exist due to Metallica influences, but there’s no denying they are symphonic metal and not acoustic, like he originally designed it to be, due to Tarja’s powerful voice at the time. As for covers, it’s Tarja era songs that are the most covered, so Tuomas benefits there again. There’s hardly, if any, if Anette or floor’s era songs covered, so Tuomas hasn’t really benefited from them, cover wise. And if Tarja holds copyright then she’s entitled to perform without royalties, but that depends on copyright law per country.
Almost like in 2005 Hartwall Arena End of an Era...just great to see them together again.

Contando as horas para o show show em hellcife

it feels really cringe watching them...they act weird.
Freed from Tuomas’s shackles, maybe.
Doing it how they want.
@@michita7838 siguen sonando espectacular.
