I find it amazing the number of white folks qualifying or even apologizing for their race so they will given the respect of being heard. I grew up dirt poor, went to Job Corps, worked my ass off until my health failed. I spent my entire 401k and most of my home equity to send 3 kids through university in Illinois. They worked part time as well. No special funding as they did not meet that being steeped in "white privilige". I love your train of thought. I wonder why an emergency court order to remove Henyard has not been issued by the State? Surely the Supreme Court would uphold the decision. I cannot see why the people of Dalton must suffer. Her verbal attacks and lack of communication skills is so unprofessional. Simply put, she appointed herself in positions to legally strong arm businesses into being quiet, such as taking away their liquor licences. She used the police as thugs against anyone who challenged her, such as writing erroneous vehicle tickets. When the prior chief spoke up, she fired him. She had police officers raid any businesses that spoke to the press, shutting many down for any violation they could come up with. She held up permits for public venues that were trying to have an event on the same day she was sponsoring an event, simply because she didn't want the competition. All of this can be viewed as an abuse of power, but is legal so long as they can show some sort of cause. What's really gotten them into trouble is the $. That's what will ultimately and legally put people in jail.

Simply put, she appointed herself in positions to legally strong arm businesses into being quiet, such as taking away their liquor licences. She used the police as thugs against anyone who challenged her, such as writing erroneous vehicle tickets. When the prior chief spoke up, she fired him. She had police officers raid any businesses that spoke to the press, shutting many down for any violation they could come up with. She held up permits for public venues that were trying to have an event on the same day she was sponsoring an event, simply because she didn't want the competition. All of this can be viewed as an abuse of power, but is legal so long as they can show some sort of cause. What's really gotten them into trouble is the $. That's what will ultimately and legally put people in jail.
