Helpful video. I was wondering why I was not able to find jobs using the keyword VISA, it's helpful now after watching the video. Thank you for taking steps to raise a formal request to LinkedIn. Appreciate the effort.
@@jegankennedy Even now also when I try to manually search.. I hardly find any job where it is mentioned that they are ok to accept overseas candidates and open to sponsor visa. Are jobs dried or I am hitting in the dark?
Hi Mr. Jegan, thanks for the insights! That was really great. I'm also looking for a sponsorship in Portugal or USA. I'm a power systems engineer and very specialized in protection relays and SCADA systems. I believe companies are very inclined to hire people who already have a legal visa status, so here's our challenge - to be sponsored or to get another way to the visa status.
Hi, Yes. You are totally right. Nowadays, to reduce expenses such measures are being taken. But at the same time, when there is really a need for specific skillsets, companies are still sponsoring visas. In my opinion, your role looks one such. I say this because I have some touch points with SCADA and so I am little bit aware of it.
This video was very informative and useful. I appreciate your efforts in sharing your knowledge and insights. Could you please make more videos on the trending IT technologies for jobs in germany ? Thanks a lot!
Companies and Businesses sponsor other skill jobs that are not from IT, like Engineers, Doctors, Mechanics and even skills from professions such as Hair Dressing etc but, for people like me from IT, I heavily doubt, there will be any chances of going aboard on a sponsored visa, because, the question lies, "Why man, why do you want to come here when you can work well from your home, and we can still give you the punches?" That helps reduce immigrants and unnecessary load on basic amenities of the country, right? So, if any one is from IT Background, again, like me, there are much lesser opportunities than any other profession of getting a sponsored visa.
Hi Victor, Wow. This is a great perspective and I can agree to this in general. But just one more I would like to add, not every IT role can be performed from home or nearshore or offshore. As you can agree, Germany has a huge base of engineering & manufacturing industries. These companies still expect IT consultants to be onsite. You can also see that German Govt. gives relaxations in visa requirements (e.g. reduced salary requirement for EU Blue Card) for IT professionals. So I can see for Germany, visa sponsoring jobs are still a thing. What are your thoughts? (I took Germany as an example here, as my channel primarily focuses on Germany jobs)
@@jegankennedy Yes you are right. not all jobs can be done remote and there are still jobs that ask for on-site duty. For the average John Doe, it is a bit of misery not finding anyone to sponsor their visa. To my utter surprise, in the Non-IT domain, people with almost no good education but great skills & experience are getting hired and sponsored . i liked your video very much, as I was doing extensive research, why lesser and lesser sponsors are available day by day. But, for me, if you get a decent salary in a remote job, it's better to stay in the country and enjoy life, right? Great content in your channel though.
Yeah totally right. It all comes down to what we actually want. Decent money and remote job is a really good option. Thanks for your feedback and thoughts. 🙂
I have one quick question one quick question im having 9 years of experience in finance now working as tax consultant in one of a big 4, my question is i have been trying to apply since march 2023 , no luck yet, is there difficult to get visa sponsorship in finance roles? Please let me know
@@thefairytaleofdivz Unfortunately, my little knowledge says that Yes, for finance jobs without German language, it is nearly impossible. But please do not be discouraged, it is only my observation. I could be wrong.
Hello jegan, thank you for making such wonderful videos, i jave watched almost all of your videos from the very first one. I myself wondering since past 2 days how to get around this "visa assistance" search result issue in LinkedIn. Thank you very much for clarifying it so well. I have a small query hope you can answer it - do you have any idea if top MNCs in semiconductor domain like Intel, qualcomm, nvidia , samsung, amd etc sponsor visa for a well experienced candidate, i see a lot of semiconductor related job openings in these companies in linkedin but have you come across atleast few people who have been able successfully able to bag the job with visa assistance ?
Hello Brother, Thanks a lot for your kind feedback. Really good question, unfortunately I have not tried checking for references or jobs for semi conductor industries until now. But I will definitely look for more details on this and get back to you. Meanwhile, if it is okay, please connect me over LinkedIn. We can discuss further.
Thank you for an informative video Jegan. This was the first video I watched on your channel and loved it. You have one more subscriber now :) Btw I have a couple of questions which goes as follows: 1) Is it mandatory to know German to be able to work in IT in Germany? 2) What are some other countries where English is the first language other than US and Canada where IT jobs are prominent.
Thanks for sharing it and I am happy to have you too with our channel. 1) No, it is not mandatory. But in the long run, it is beneficial to have German language to grow in your role/company. 2) Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark are my preferred options.
Thanks bro for such a great content . I have 1 question if in the job description if they haven't mentioned visa sponsorship but still can I apply if I'm busy suited can didate for that role will have still chances of getting into company. Is my assumption correct. Please do reply
Thanks Rakesh. This is a really good question. I have also done this but most of the recruiters rejected my application. But this can work, if you can connect with recruiter and convince them for self visa sponsorship. Otherwise, the success rate is very low.
currently have a student visa for Germany and my_qualifications are 3 years of experience in QA software testing. So I was thinking whether I should choose the path of student visa and try for jobs and convert it into work, since I lost interest in masters. Or should I apply from India itself for jobs that offer visa sponsorship or come there in job seeker visa and try or trying for a job in student visa and converting it. I am totally confused on making a decision, your suggestions will be a huge help to me.
Do you get free time at home after coming back from office? Like in India when we return we scroll mobile, watch RUclips videos. Do WhatsApp etc. How do you spend your time there? How about the official work pressure?
Hi, Yes. I get sometime. I use it for this RUclips channel. Researching, Shooting Video, Editing (needs a lot of time) and other family chores. In my roles, not much pressure. I think in general most of the people say the same thing.
Hi Jegan, Thanks for the information I almost lost hope to get job from india to abroad but your channel keeping my hopes up. Thanks for your valuable information. One question though I am not able to find the Google sheet link

I have a question here. If got job but no visa sponsership. Is it possible for me to apply my own visa with the same? Because I only need documents from company however payment and other stuff i can manage by myself?
Hi. I'm a banker with 30 years of experience and 24 years in Internal Audit. In your experience did you find any sponsored Visa for my category. Thanks
I do not have a first hand experience on this Kumar. I am aware of two such initiatives from couple of NRIs. But I am not sure, how good it is. So I do not recommend any consultancy without first hand experience.

Frankly, I do not know if Canada employers provide visa sponsored jobs like in Germany. But if provide, then I would suggest to check in LinkedIn job descriptions only. Unfortunately, I do not know any other option.
Really very informative video.....sir, any consultancy in Germany who can help to get IT jobs in Germany, have more than 17 years of experience. Working as Cloud architect in MNC. Whether there is age limit for IT jobs?
Hi, I usually do not recommend any consultancy as such. So I let you to do your own research on it. But age restriction is not there. After 45 yrs, if you plan to move, you would need to show some additional pension related contribution from the home country. Usually for Indians, this could be done with PF contribution statement. (this is just a theoretical knowledge, I do not have any first hand experience). In short, age is not a problem.
Thanks for doing this all for us...Can you help me finding a way to Germany as I have 14 years of experience in Cyber Security and looking for any country in EU region...Even a small help would be appreciated
