My African Grey goes on my shoulder every day but I try not to let it near my eyes, I try to never look at it directly, he never tried to poke my eye, but it's still a possibility, you really cannot know... you can have it for 30 years and it won't do anything but one day, it might decide otherwise, so if you're careful, hopefully, on that bad day you won't get anything serious. Relax, I still find what you said funny haha

Ok what would you do? I found this Mediterranean restaurant I really really enjoyed the food at. However, before even going in…we almost turned around & left because the owners Parrot is kept outside in the cold. It doesn’t look like it’s on a leash or anything keeping it there, it’s wings were fluffed up bc it was 30 degrees out!! The poor parrot was whining, at first it sounded lonely. The more we thought about it, we regretted eating there. I really want to make a call on them…however if the parrot could have flown away at any time..what makes it my business? Ahhhh. It’s been 2 days now and idk 🤷🏻♀️ what to do really, if anything. The food was great but I would have liked to report that, it was sad.

@@AS-rr9km if your concerned you can call a local facility to do a welfare check on the bird but if nothings wrong it comes out of your pocket at some places. But if it wasn’t flying away it probably wants to be there. That being said you can always play dumb about knowing the bird is theirs and tell the owners that there’s a bird freezing outside and you’re gonna take it to a shelter, just to scare him ;)
@@relativexistence505 Good suggestions. We did ask about it being okay, and the owners kid said “he comes back normally more in the summer time.” Very casually. So I was like….is this bird migrating to visit its owner? Or was the kid trained to say that, because secretly it’s wings are clipped 😅I didn’t know. The bird was shaking. But when people walked away, it would stop crying & seemed content. It was sad to see the cold bird…but if it can fly I’m like…well! 😅Yeah I was getting worried. If I go back the weather will be warmer from now on. That place has good enough food I’d like to get to know the people and learn more about it in general too. Secretly making sure they aren’t animal abusers but also keep getting great food 🤣I’m awful. It’s like my Chick-fil-A habits.

It's true, lots of birds don't like when their humans take naps. They see us lying down and falling asleep at a time that isn't our normal bedtime and they get concerned that something is wrong. My current bird loves taking naps at any time lol but the one I had before that would never let me nap. He'd start screaming within 10 minutes of me lying down and I'm convinced it was because he was looking for a reaction to make sure I was still alive 😂
