The company no longer works with Helios to make these, and Helios now makes the Helios 500.
Helios 500 please.. its the most economical in India.. please review.. i already got it but i dont have any point of comparison as i never used any other scanner..
Both are good in their own right. Different software advantages. Medit i600 is a great low-cost option, and so is Aoralscan 3. I would suggest try both and see what you prefer.
The margin line is exported as a separate file - the format is xyz; when you import the scan project into exocad, it will be automatically imported into exocad
Oh wow. I didn’t even know that. They do look exactly the same and even the software looks the same. Could you tell me how it could be inferior to others because it seems it can do everything without a limitation besides itero being exclusive for invisalign. My main reason for buying a scanner is full arch restoration (10 crown preps on each arch), to take bite registration, and also to do some implant restorations and scan for diagnostic models.
@@JoonKimDMD for scanning alone it is fine. software is nothing like medit, shining etc. its just a low cost scanning tool. I would suggest try before you buy and see if you like it.
@@InstituteofDigitalDentistry What software feature can we expect by choosing medit, or shining over S200? If all I want is to scan accurately, fast, and save it as STL, would S200 be as good as the others?
@@JoonKimDMD To do simple tasks like this all work well. Medit software is more polished that is all with more features But Shining has been working hard to catch up.
Thanks for your reviews. What is the model of the dental chair in the background?
KaVo uniQa - its an awesome treatment unit.

How about atomica S200?
Is it a white labeled HELIOS 500 scanner. We haven not yet reviewed it. I have personally used it and its OK for a entry level product
