I ain't getting on a plane unless I know every little scrape, bump, or ANY other accident the thing has been through like it's fuckin carfax. I know that the one day I get on a plane, the guy that was supposed be on maintenance for the thing ain't gonna have shit done and be fresh off a blinker from his 10 minute long trip to the bathroom.
The reason they don't have backup components in case stuff fails is because of cost and travel time. We already know Big Corpo is greedy and cheap. But there's also the fact that they want their planes to travel as quickly and fuel efficient as possible. How do you do that? Keeping the plane light.
The new a350 900, a350 1000 and some older 787s and 747-8 use carbon fiber a lightweight and much stronger material compared to aluminum. Making the aircraft lighter means more fuel efficiency. Developing new and more fuel efficient engines whilst designing new winglets decreasing drag improves fuel efficiency. In this crash a dubler plate was used and incorrectly installed with i think 1 row of bolts top and bottom instead of 2 rows of bolts. Having a spare portion of the bulkhead takes too long to install as most non severe tailstrikes need a replacement. If the plate was installed correctly it should have made it through till a scheduled maintenance day. If any were made. I hope that was ok info lmao my fault if anythings wrong lol.

The language of aviation is English, usually extremely broken english for countries that don't speak it natively. Anywhere you go ATC and pilots should know English and should be able to communicate basic commands in Englsih.
