You don't understand how long it took me, to try different things, including contacting support, just to re-activate my office package, because it requiered a PIN I never made :') thank you so so much!! bless you
Thank you worked like a charm. I couldn't add a windows 11 hello pin to my child's family account. Doing this fixed it and I now have an easy way for my 7 year old to access his account.
Worked great! I did need to have another computer to receive my one time pin when it reset to my email, but otherwise, did the job. Thank you so much!!!
Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my Windows 11 Pro. After rebooting, I'm forced to log in to my Hotmail account. When I go to configure the PIN, the message of PIN not working for my organization resources is there again. I don't know what to do anymore...
When I type my “username” into the blank and click “Check Names” a box pops up and says “An Object (User, Group, or Built-in security principal) with the following name cannot be found: ““my username here”” Check the selected object types and locations for accuracy and ensure that you have typed the object name correctly, or remove this object from the selection. (I’ve deleted and retyped my name 20 times I didn’t typo my name when I typed it into the blank) PLEASE HELP!!??????
I am not sure if you still have the same problem. Anyway, to solve this problem, click below on Advance in the same window, then Find Now. In the list look for your system name and and double click on it. Now you are on the previous window with the system name inserted. That is it.
the problem in my case, is that when windows hello pin asks me to verify my account password and I type it, it tells me that it is incorrect although I know for sure it is correct I even changed it because of that, and still the problem!!
Hi uh Im having a problem with the check names part, it said you do not have permission to view this object's security properties, even as an administrative user. Please help Edit: fixed it a while back.
Hi Entering my computer name not working. I have to enter my hotmail email adress.... It seem to work. After clicking on check name, it display my computer name followed by my email adress in parenthesis. Before continuing, i would like to know if it is normal ? Thanks
Hello I saw this video and I would like to ask you a question. I had to make a new install , so I also had to add my different account’s in outlook . And I use the Microsoft app to login and no password anymore. But it still ask my hello pincode 😢 . And I forget them , so I change the in my computer account and make a new pin but outlook says it’s the wrong pincode. I changed in in my control panel but outlook refuses them . I don’t know what to do to get my email addresses back . And on my Microsoft accounts page I can’t change the pincode. Can someone help with a solution ? Thx
Open the Control Panel and Click System and Security > System. On the View basic information about your computer page, see the Full computer name under the section Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings.
Open File Explorer from the taskbar and select View then click Options and change folder and search options. Now select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, Then select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK. Now you can find npc.
To solve a Windows Hello PIN problem, you can try the following steps: Reset your PIN: Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > Windows Hello PIN, and click on "I forgot my PIN". Follow the prompts to reset your PIN. Check your account type: Windows Hello PIN is only available for local accounts or Microsoft accounts. If you are signed in with a domain account, you may not be able to set up a Windows Hello PIN. Update Windows: Make sure you have the latest updates installed for Windows 10. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on "Check for updates". Check your device compatibility: Windows Hello requires certain hardware components, such as a camera or fingerprint reader. Make sure your device meets the hardware requirements for Windows Hello. Check your group policy settings: If your organization has set up group policies, it may be preventing you from setting up a Windows Hello PIN. Contact your IT department for assistance. Or you can share your problem with on our website itsupport.com.bd .
