I enjoyed your video. I just purchased a new cricut explore 3 several months ago. I enjoyed the videos you showed and I will try them. The video was very informative and you made it easy to follow. Kudos!
Great tutorial! I learned quite a bit from you. I am somewhat new to Cricut and very new to HTV. Just made a small project with HTV and am feeling a little more comfortable with it. Keeping this tutorial so I can reference again and again. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much 💕 That is so great! I love working with HTV I find it so easy to weed and just really fun to have all of these beautiful shirts and things to wear. ❤️
I'm so new and just received my late Christmas, which is a Cricuit Explorer 3. Oh me gosh just absorbing all these videos. I also have in the bundle a pack of the Circuit colored pens. I think if I would do some cards I would switch out the colors
@@Stina956 hahaha I totally agree! It can feel like information overload sometimes too 😂🙈 My goal is to try to make it a little less intimidating because I promise it is so much fun once you figure out the few little important steps :) ❤️
@@Stina956 thank you so much! 🥰 And that is so exciting! I started to add decals to everything around the house when I first started out because I loved using my Cricut machine 🙈😅
I just got the Air 2 for Christmas. I was the go-to for software at work, but there are a lot of things to learn. I understand grouping and attaching, but still unsure about when to use flatten and welding.
@@seeking.harmony that is so neat! Yes I agree it can be a little confusing on the difference between a few different options. :) I can definitely break it down in a tutorial in the future to make sure I am explaining those types of things along with the steps :)
@@seeking.harmony essentially the weld function makes it so the letters to a word for example stay connected and aren't split up by cut lines (some fonts like certain cursive ones automatically have it so there will be cut lines across your letters which means it wouldn't be connected when you cut it out on your machine) so you would hit weld on that word and it removes those cut lines inbetween that you don't want and leaves the outline of the lettering to cut around instead :) Or if you are trying to join shapes together you could select weld to make it all cut out together instead of having the seperate individual shapes cut lines. I know it probably sounds even more confusing when I type it out instead of actually show it but I didn't want to leave you hanging with your question haha Long story short it removes any overlapping cut lines that go across your design and creates that solid decal :)
I’m interested in the downloading images. When do you use the different choices and I couldn’t really see what was happening when you were highlighting. Thank you for doing SUCH A GREAT JOB EXPLAINING EVERYTHING! I’m able to do what you teach I’m just curious about the difference
Thank you so much for letting me know I will definitely try to make it easier to see what is happening :) I am glad you are able to do it along also! :) Are you wondering how to download the images off of Google and then do the unzip step to be able to upload it into Cricut design space? Also just clarifying which different choices you are wondering about :) is it the different selections on the side panels on Cricut design space? Or do you mean the different choices of types of files you can download? :) Happy to help in any way I can! 💕
Thank you so much! I am so sorry and embarrassed for asking this but what is a string of dolphins? I haven't had my morning coffee before replying to comments so maybe I just need to wake up a bit hahah
@@Trebushea , the plant! The little green succulents are in the shape of a dolphins. It is in the same family as strong of pearls! I love them but I always kill them.
@@helennorcross8018 oh hahah I am so sorry that makes sense 😅 I had no idea what it was called. I am super into gardening and plants so I have house plants everywhere now that we had to move away from our house with a vegetable garden. Honestly I have no idea what I am doing so well for all of these plants but they are all growing so much. I have them all in the window and during the summer months I give them what I call a spa day 😂 I put the plants in the sink and fill the pot with water and just let it all drip out for about an hour before hanging it back up. The soil gets really wet and then the plant seems to really love those because it just grows and grows. It is so long so part of it broke in the move.
It depends on your own personal preference :) I personally use permanent vinyl on my mugs and tumblers so I choose not to seal them with anything. But they are not dishwasher safe or microwave safe and then they are handwash only without soaking it. :) Otherwise I have heard of crafters sealing their Drinkware but I am not sure what they use 💕
I personally use permanent vinyl and I pick that up at Michael's or any other craft shop. I also order my permanent vinyl on Amazon sometimes because of all the lockdowns we had where I live so the stores weren't always an option for me. :) Definitely permanent vinyl is what I would recommend They are no longer microwave safe or dishwasher safe (though I personally don't put my glass mugs in the microwave anyways) but they are handwash only and try not to leave them soaking in the sink or the decal might come up.
Certain fonts for example only do it that way but there is a way on Cricut design space under the fonts tab window on the top right hand side of all the fonts list it should let you filter the search to writing or draw I believe. Hopefully that helps and if not I can open up my computer and try it along with you to give you all the steps. I currently do not have my computer with me so I'm doing it off of memory 💖
I followed your butterfly Valentines card instructions step by step and for some reason my butterfly printed above the cardstock on my mat. What do you think happened to cause that?
Oh my goodness this is the best idea ever!! I absolutely need to make that. I may or may not be pulling out my Cricut and cardstock as I type this to get started! 😂
What projects are you planning for Valentine's day?

How do I make multiple cards at once for my class? Is it better to use the cricut card mat? Or the light grip mat and make duplicate copies?
My question is when I turn the basic cut to pen my image or writing is doubled line. How do you get it to not double line?
