The key to fgc is that we fund our own events. People pay to come and lose funding th venue the winners and the hosts.
General esports doesn't run like that.
1000 people join a fgc tournament for 5 dollars a piece and buy food plus ticket entry price and you get the rest. It's how we have always done it and it's why it works. Now add in sponsors, twitch donations

It's true that he didnt contribute to the score but he was just as useful as dead enemies cant cash in, or gather money, also even if they get some money, dying takes a chunk of it away.

If you’re farming for high kill games, banking quite literally lowers the time you get to play. Seems counterproductive to what Gryzzy’s trying to do.
Edit: also what Daniel said is true, can’t make progress on bounties if you’re dead
