Hi mam ...I think you concept of institution is nt clear.. institutions do not have members they have followers. Bcoz institutions by definition are cluster of folk ways nd mores.. in short they are bundle of rules and regulations and as individuals we have to follow theses

Institutions are not just clusters of folkways and mores . Its much more than that and yes It HAS members. They also manifest the co-ordinated patterns of behaviour of members of a
society. like your family , marriage , law etc. they all are considered institutions.
