My question is when you’re done being an explorer what comes next ? Do you go to real boot camp next ? Can you work for the law enforcement? I use to be an explorer now I’m 20 and want to go back for a career in law enforcement and never got the courage to ask
158Student well that’s sucks . I was in the Santa Ana area and some guy told me after his training he was going to boot camp and then graduate . I also went to my uncles graduation for relay cops and they said a couple people from the explorers became real cops at age 21 -23
yeah true im Richland county explorer deputy were im at they will let be in an explorer deputy till you are 18 then they say hey come work for us it all depends what you want to do
For anyone interested, after being an explorer you can apply for a civilian position such as a cadet or public safety aid. I did just this before becoming a sword officer
I worked in Law Enforcement and I started off as an explorer as a kid for 3 years. It helps and it gives you insight into working in Law Enforecment.
Do you teach your cadets how to identify Canadian drivers licenses?
Is the program still active or did they shut it down?

1:00 Edwin Garcia isn't he a sergeant not a lieutenant. Sergeant got three stripes, and a lieutenant has a gold bar
He has 2 stripes on his left collar, thats the rank of a Corporal.
Well at least for most Police Explorer Post if not all, including mine.
@@Zach-sv7ej Bro look up a corporal collar brass and a sergeant collar brass before you try to correct me alright.
@@datplayz4001 Like I said according to my post in the Philadelphia Police Explorer the rank would be Corporal
@@datplayz4001 he is a corporal....
