You know what? YG artists prefer to perform in this show than KBS's Music Bank. GD and Taeyang said that the crowd/audiences of this show is awesome and better because they sincerely appreciate the performers, if its bad then it is bad if its good then it's good. This show also often had been used as the "can these idols sing live or not?" platform rather than only a show to satisfy a specific fandom cuz the audiences are usually mixed between fandom and normal listeners
This is what we called stage presence people. Fans nowadays be calling it stage presence when their idol just wink on the stage. Not throwing shade to anyone, just stating a general fact. Who else can hype the sketchbook's audience like this!

Everytime, I mean it, EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME Big Bang performs Lie or Haru Haru I cry like a baby its a reminder of how much they have grown , how hard they have worked for their position, how awesomely they have improoved, how long I have been following. I love them so much! I feel like a proud mama even though they are all older than me, they have grown a lot IN me and WITH me. These songs are legendary IMO.

Look how fast time flies. This was their comeback after 3 years of hiatus. And now, they’re gone again. I’ll be back here when they have their comeback in 2020!
Some people couldn't understand how huge BIGBANG was at that time. They were truly at the top with almost zero bad songs. Even their latest full album (MADE) has no title track. They promoted all of the songs one by one for each month since they couldn't choose which one should be the main track. And all of the songs were at the top of korean music charts. One song replaced their other songs on the next month. It was just like BIGBANG vs BIGBANG. They are on their own league. Now as a long time fan, I have mixed feelings towards them since I have acknowledged their ups and downs. It's not just happiness and excitement, but also kinda sad and feeling like I miss something. BIGBANG is the representation of my childhood, so listening to Lie in this video really made me want to cry. I have get through my younger days with BIGBANG. Seeing them singing the old songs really feel nostalgic. That is kind of feeling that BIGBANG has left on me, and I believe on all of you too who have been with BIGBANG for so long. I'm really grateful to know BIGBANG since years ago so I can experience these kind of sad yet beautiful feelings just by listening and seeing them perform. Can't wait to see you again being active in music industry, BIGBANG.
Anyone in 2018? I've been watching this video nonstop since Febuary started. I mean I've been a VIP since I was born but I just started watching Big Bang NONSTOP.
Watching their "Lies" perf makes me cry. Plus the fact that Taeyang put on a shirt that has him and GD's childhood photo makes me cry😭 I just realized that I so effin' miss them so much😭💔 I miss their everything💔
I told myself I won't cry, then BIGBANG comes in singing lies in their old outfits. Nothing has changed apart from the fact that they're now veterans and no longer rookies. GD is still that charismatic leader on stage with a shy and charming personality. TOP is still that amazing rapper with a hyper personality. TAEYANG is still that powerful voice with a humble personality. Seungri is still that soft voice that always got bullied😂 And Daesung is still that angelic voice with a killer eye-smile. Overall BIGBANG is still BIGBANG. Little 4 years old stuck in an adult body. Will always be a proud VIP
There a lots of thing changes now lol. Yb and Gd have tattoos, Top talk more, Daesung can't see, Seungri go to club more than actual yg, Gd no longer have his cheerful leader image, Bigbang don't go on variety show on off schedule anymore, and even thou that wasn't their original outfits, it was school seeing them going back to the older Bigbang styles.
It's 2024, and I still can't get enough of them. Watching their live performances almost every day! There's no one like Bigbang, they are truly the Kings of Kpop! 👑
I was crying when they start singing on LIE, It's make me remember their debut time. When they got so much trouble and until now, they became the LEGEND. I miss T.O.P, I hope after their military. They came with 5 members. NOT 4 MEMBERS
I'm so late to the world of BigBang (I really got into them Feb 2016) but I love these guys so much. They're definitely some of my all time favorite musicians, they're truly legends. I never thought I would listen to kpop, because I don't speak Korean, and never even really knew much about Korea, but I am so glad I gave these guys a listen, because these guys are true artists.
***** I know.. Top was my first "bias" I guess, but like I have so much respect for him as a person and artist, and ugh, I give so much credit to you vips who have been around longer. I feel like I shouldn't even be able to be sad, but I'm really upset that he's going in February and that the group will be on hiatus
And really, they have this way of singing that is really passionate. I will say this again and again. World's famous rock star does not have perfect sounding vocals, but they have powerful and passionate vocal. The guys of Bigbang have that, their voices are very unique and distinctive but combine together, they complement each other. Maybe that's why all of them have successful solo career.
I'm actually really proud of the VIPs. In general, they're really respectful to members that aren't their bias. For example, at 1:28, there's a girl waving a sign with TOP's name on it, but when she saw that Daesung was coming down the aisle, she put it down and focused on Daesung. And that's actually really nice of her, so she wouldn't be flaunting the fact that Dae wasn't her bias right in front of his face. She devoted her attention to him. Only when he passed did she continue to support TOP. This isn't always true with all groups though. I was watching an episode of Eat Jin, which is where BTS's Jin has his own eating show. And clearly, it's HIS show. It has has name, it's supposed to be all about him. Yet fans were commenting like, _where's Jungkook? Where's J-Hope? Where's Rapmon? Where's Suga?_ And Jin's just like, _they're not here, they're at home._ And in my head I'm just thinking, why would you be asking for another member? Shouldn't you just let Jin have his spotlight? I think Jin was kind of hurt that the fans would just ignore him and his show, and just come on to ask for the other members.
+50TheQueen I agree, but BTS hasn't been around for as long and are still young, I think their fanbase are currently a lot younger than Bigbangs. I'm both ARMY and VIP and it's more common for me to meet people around 20+ that are VIP's since Bigbang has been around for longer and are older. Just think it's the fanbase that are a bit more mature. But of course there's immature and mature fans in both. But yeah, Jin does seem a bit sensitive with these things I've noticed. I think it's because he's not looked upon as a strong vocal or a strong dancer, so the only real thing HE thinks he got going for him is being the visual, so it probably hurts his pride.

I cried so much during Lies, seeing them perform the song that put them on the map is just heartwarming in a way. I think I can now consider them my ultimate bias group. And I just love how they can turn any stage into their own, no other group can do that or perform so well with a backing band. If MNET misses the opportunity to have them at MAMAs this year it will be such a great loss to them.
on the last performance they dressed like how they used to dress back in the day, GD with scarf, YoungBae with his snapback cap, TOP with chains and spike hair, Daesung wearing rolled up full sleeve, Seungri with sleevless shirt and gloves, and all of them wearing matching sneakers
Not only that, but they were also dancing part of the original choreography with another arrangement in the music, I loved this way of remembering the best of the old ❤️❤️❤️
agree, bigbang's concert is so lit 🔥, not like other groups nowadays, they only focus on dancing, bigbang alway sing lively, dance whatever they want, but still make everyone jump up
I really love 'Lies'.. This song made what Bigbang is today, the proof that GD is an extraordinary producer.. You'd think this was a one hit wonder but boy, he produced hit songs one after another. Not just for BB, or his solo but for other members and artists as well.. GD is really precious. And ToP, Dae, Taeyang and Seungri aren't behind him, they walk side by side. That's what makes BB formidable..
Each members of this group can shine on their own but best when they are together. All of them have a unique voice, style and you can easily tell them apart. I've been watching other kpop as part of my research but I always look for the stage presence similar to them. Sadly, it's only them who can give this kind of performance and interaction with the audience. I love them!
Even though I have good empties of seungri, in light of everything he's done..... It pains me to know one of the members of the big bang I love committed such disgusting and horrible crimes..... I can't forgive him and what he's done. In light of everything, I think it's the right decision for bigbang to continue without him. One song replaced their other songs on the next month. It was just like BIGBANG vs BIGBANG. They are on their own league. Now as a long time fan, I have mixed feelings towards them since I have acknowledged their ups and downs. It's not just happiness and excitement, but also kinda sad and feeling like I miss something. BIGBANG is the representation of my childhood, so listening to Lie in this video really made me want to cry. I have get through my younger days with BIGBANG. Seeing them singing the old songs really feel nostalgic. That is kind of feeling that BIGBANG has left on me, and I believe on all of you too who have been with BIGBANG for so long. I'm really grateful to know BIGBANG since years ago so I can experience these kind of sad yet beautiful feelings just by listening and seeing them perform. Can't wait to see you again being active in music industry, BIGBANG.

I'm so late to the world of BigBang (I really got into them Feb 2016) but I love these guys so much. They're definitely some of my all time favorite musicians, they're truly legends. I never thought I would listen to kpop, because I don't speak Korean, and never even really knew much about Korea, but I am so glad I gave these guys a listen, because these guys are true artists.

Now I understand what makes them very well-liked by general public. All of their song has a very catchy hook that everyone can easily sing-along to.
And really, they have this way of singing that is really passionate. I will say this again and again. World's famous rock star does not have perfect sounding vocals, but they have powerful and passionate vocal. The guys of Bigbang have that, their voices are very unique and distinctive but combine together, they complement each other. Maybe that's why all of them have successful solo career.
Because they stand differently from the whole crowd that has the same concept and no charisma at all
I'm actually really proud of the VIPs. In general, they're really respectful to members that aren't their bias. For example, at 1:28, there's a girl waving a sign with TOP's name on it, but when she saw that Daesung was coming down the aisle, she put it down and focused on Daesung. And that's actually really nice of her, so she wouldn't be flaunting the fact that Dae wasn't her bias right in front of his face. She devoted her attention to him. Only when he passed did she continue to support TOP.
This isn't always true with all groups though. I was watching an episode of Eat Jin, which is where BTS's Jin has his own eating show. And clearly, it's HIS show. It has has name, it's supposed to be all about him. Yet fans were commenting like, _where's Jungkook? Where's J-Hope? Where's Rapmon? Where's Suga?_ And Jin's just like, _they're not here, they're at home._ And in my head I'm just thinking, why would you be asking for another member? Shouldn't you just let Jin have his spotlight? I think Jin was kind of hurt that the fans would just ignore him and his show, and just come on to ask for the other members.
+50TheQueen I agree, but BTS hasn't been around for as long and are still young, I think their fanbase are currently a lot younger than Bigbangs. I'm both ARMY and VIP and it's more common for me to meet people around 20+ that are VIP's since Bigbang has been around for longer and are older. Just think it's the fanbase that are a bit more mature. But of course there's immature and mature fans in both.
But yeah, Jin does seem a bit sensitive with these things I've noticed. I think it's because he's not looked upon as a strong vocal or a strong dancer, so the only real thing HE thinks he got going for him is being the visual, so it probably hurts his pride.

I really love 'Lies'.. This song made what Bigbang is today, the proof that GD is an extraordinary producer.. You'd think this was a one hit wonder but boy, he produced hit songs one after another. Not just for BB, or his solo but for other members and artists as well.. GD is really precious. And ToP, Dae, Taeyang and Seungri aren't behind him, they walk side by side. That's what makes BB formidable..
