I watching this video on pandemic covid-19 2020-2021...why i am here?because,me new got nokia c7 yesterday..
My first smartphone, at 2011... And Nokia C7 has NFC too... I love C7 cuz their memory is bigger. 8GB internal, user get 7.45GB. 8MP camera with a clear view, Symbian Belle (upgradable from Anna), metal body. Fast respond than all Android phone, even with RAM 768MB and Processor 680Mhz. Flashlight has the brightest than my brother android. I used it almost 2 years before got stolen by someone.
I wonder... Nokia have much idea to create a new C7, or simillar phone like N8, with Snapdragon/ Intel inside, more RAM, more memory, and Android inside. If they really make it happen...
I will definitely buy that!!!

its gone 1 month after getting phone but i m still in doubt that does it have Gorilla Glass display? some blogs says yes and some no.......

@Betanmtb .... u must learn to use smartphones... keep your phone updated, delete all bulky file such as cache and paitbn which make a smartphone slow... install all your themes and software in mass memory and keep memory card for songs images and videos.. dont ever install anything to phone memory. do not install crap softwares for untrusted sites .... thats all...
I mean, nokia has 8mp camera, dual flash and aluminium cover.. samsung has no flash, 5mp camera and plastic cover..
BUT! touch might be better in samsung and there are more apps I think..

I tried to manage it through settings ...but still no outcome .
Don't know whether it's a software or hardware issue .

I'd have to agree. It's complete junk. Nokia should be ashamed of themselves for foistering this buggy piece of crapola into the marketplace. The phone is a software disaster - constantly freezes, hangs and randomly lauches applications by itself (eg the music player)). On top of that the phone is sluggish and far too fiddly. I went back to my E63 and it's miles better in terms of usability and stability.
Nokia are finished and their association with MicroShit will sink them sooner than later.
When i got the C7 it proved to be much more advanced and user friendly than the N6, but over time began to show major flaws. The middle menu button occasionly stopped working, which meant i couldnt accces the menu.A few days ago, the back cover that surrounds the camera,flash and speakers started to peel off,now it's came off completly.All together two Nokia phones in the last year with hardware problems in the last year,proves, that i will be sure never to buy a Nokia mobile again.Rant over.
@Betanmtb N8 offers a superb AF Carl Zeiss 12MP camera with Xenon flash (Best in Class), C7 offers a more basic/general purpose 8MP Full Focus with dual LED. N8 has HDMI video output, C7 only composite VGA. C7 has a removable battery with back cover; N8 has a replaceable battery with a proper tool kit. N8 has hot swappable Micro SD, C7's micro SD in not hot swappable. N8 has double the on board memory at 16GB. N8 comes in more colors. N8 has single piece annodized Aluminum case.

@allessandrapotpot Actualy iOS and Android and all other OSs ar far behind Maemo and MeeGo, if you had ever used N900 you would understand, that it is far more mature than any other OS. Does Android/iOS have capable multitasking, that can compete to Maemo or MeeGo? And N900 600MHz CPU with 256MB RAM is able to do much much more than 1GHz or more Droids.
@blindwitness90 It's an EDoF...a very compact camera which allows for a thin profile with no camera bump/ump on the back. Will not do macro but performs well in good lighting. Everything beyond 2 feet from lens is in focus. Hence the term FULL Focus. For video, it's nice because there is no AF lag. But it is not very good in poor lighting, even with dual LED's.

I watched this video and the Motorola MILESTONE XT720 video and i'm stuck. They both are at wind now and i am more interested in these two phones. I really look at how fast the phone is and the camera because I really like taking pics on my phone and downloading widgets but I also use my phone a lot. which one would you recommend?

C7 is lighter.
c7 has java, wave doesn't.
C7's camera is better.
C7 has 16.7 m colors :)

but u cant say that the c7 is slow. because i use it. and it has NEVER hanged even when i have 8gb internal and a 8 gb sd card.
my used up space is around 12 gb.
it has never hanged. hasn't lagged a bit.

Wow everybody talks about what the phone has but hey it’s a PHONE what is the sound quality like!!!! the most important for buyers as well and paying that kind of money for it THE SPEAKER PHONE is it low is it medium or does it have a good volume strength on both ends I would like to know and hear........
nice looking phone, but what a piss around it is. To smart for its own boots, Already had one replaced because of glitches and now my replacement has a load of other issues going on. I always thought nokia were generally good but this phone is just a nuisance.

You could opt for the nokia C6-01 it hac CBD tech and same features.
Ony drawback is it has a smaller screen(3.2")that doesn't matter for most...

Hey Guys and Girls, I bought this phone and its AWESOME!, but battery drains so fast (rapidly) It longs for like 16h. Normally I send 10 messages per day, make 3min calls per day, Iam on internet (WLAN) - 20 minutes per day.
Does anybody have a SOLUTION? PLEASE....
@HenRIP1234 i personally would recommend the android phones, the htc will have better built quality compared to Samsung and also has htc sense! the ace does have a few tricks of its own up its sleeve thou like a better camera and a slightly larger screen, ur call my friend!
@exceilence The camera, and some camera features. And the internal storage I suppose. And the price of course. I'd prefer this phone over the N8 only for the price factor. Of course there won't be the 'wow' factor with this handset as in the N8, but this should pretty much do the job.
@qazibasit I hate my 5800. It's probably biggest failure from Nokia. Only good thing in it is good quality speakers. My 5800 graphics card freezes in cold air and the touch screen is broken from some place. :/ well at least it's not so bad like iPhone 4 what breaks for ever when it's on cold air

@liberteen1990 realy? korea mading is better than hugary? really? i have nokia c5-03 made in Hungary bought it about 5 months ago and have not a single problem and a koren c6 of my frind had asw fail in 1 month so i dont realy agree with you.
@gs0995 it starts when you pull the lock button and hold it for a few seconds... its not a problem, its the flashlight torch feature. to switch it off just once again long pull the lock button... its an amazing phone, I own it and am proud of it... enjoy
hey guys i need a smartphone with good web browsing and application with cool user interface .and i want that phone to work at least 4 -5 years and i m too confused between samsung ace (android) and nokia c7 (symbian)...plz help me guys ...
@highonpsi Full Focus EDoF camera. Pro's...everything beyond 2 feet is in focus. Con's...can't do macro.
It will read barcodes but not scan business cards. Great with good lighting, poor with low lighting. Outdoor daytime video is stellar.
@ajaybully dude n8 is way better...u gotta admit..c7 is the smaller brother..i got all of these sets..i got really impressed with n8 and n900....and c7 is just the same with low price but no 12mp and hdmi....seriusoly..n8 is better
did i get it ryt and the dude didn`t take a picture in the dark even tho the phone has an integrated blitz ....Lame ...and during the whole review he doesn`t seem to know the phone tweaks himself...Idk the phone is good the review just didn`t suit him...

dont buy a c7 they are rubbish. If they didnt freeze, if there was a slider thing to answer calls (like iphone) and if the menu button was reliable (sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt) then it would be a good phone
the nokia c7 is shit. the only thing about it thats okay is the camera.
if you dont agree with this you havnt owned one long enough.. but then again even iphones are rubbish. they all have their pros and cons
@loyality4 Try to buy the C7 made in Finland. Although I only buy Nokia and believe me I have a lot of phones,however I have one particular that is made in Hungary and it is rather good o problems, all ok.

If nokia use 1Ghz CPU (min), use better screen res and tech, reasonable price,use better battery, and the most important use better OS (Android for Ex) than Nokia can compete again in the smartphone market.

@underdograza either you plug your c7 in the computer and check your phone there you find your hard disks or you could go in to applications in your phone then office then file mgr and there you find all memory info
Earlier on I was playing around with my C7.
I accidentally dropped it on the floor and when I picked it up, one of the keys came loose and the guts in the phone became visible.
And that's why I regret buying it now.
this fellow is only referring to the physical features............. specifically iut has 3 external buttons.... there are more thing we want to know

@jb678901 bought it from the phone company. payed damn good money for it too. and not only did they take it back. they stopped selling it. C7 disappeared from the market as soon as it appeared, and for a good reason
C7 is a great toy. wouldn't recommend as a phone though. the lack of a closeness sensor makes the phone dial random numbers when touching your cheek or ear. i returned the phone after finding myself apologizing in it's name.
@iHeartApple98 of course this cause this phone has 8 Megapixel camera, while iPhone 4 is only 5, you can extend the memory with microSD until 32GB, and from economics side, iPhone 4 is so much more expensive. just compare

@ortim1 Thats exactly what I want to know. If you could add autofocus in a future software update that would be great. Of course if there is a hardware limitation then thats not possible. I really want to know this.
this phone is full of fail. i had one, no actually two if you count the replacement, which after several care center repairs, is still broken! This PHONE HAS A LOT OF ISSUES. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
C7 is better 4 me than the N8...Take the cam n HDMI mini port out of N8, n u got a C7! At a much lower price....this phone rocks,thumbs up nokia! Nokia rocks..Symbian is ceratainly improving

i have nokia n97 mini using from last one year, i just got lil touch roughness in it so i went to nokia care, now they are exchanging my n97 mini and giving c7, should i go for it ?
c7 is the best, believe me. i buyed it 3 months back after watching this review and now im proud to be a c7 owner
@Froanite No autofocus which most phones out there do not have. you have full focus all the time. Even in the Iphone 4 you have to tap to focus on something which is unpractical.
is there any difference between Nokia e72 and Nokia c7 in the gbs application im interested in gbs and if there is no difference i will buy e 72 or e5 please help ..

The C7 does not have a "fixed" focus camera. It has a FULL focus camera. There's a big difference. Specifically, it's called an Extended Depth of Field (EDoF) camera.
its a nokia C7 with amazing features for its price and some drool worthy ones that other OS's don't have. You'd bet your ass I'm gonna put my fingerprints all over it! :D

@elyk129 Can't talk about the Samsung, but I really like my C7 and I have had it a year, still going strong. Just had a great new firmware upgrade as well.
The video quality was bad because your camera lense was dirty, I've noticed with E7 that it acts just like that if the lense is filled with grease of fingers.

Would you recommend this over the Samsung Wave 2 S8530 ? It has a better processor but do you think it would really matter on a phone. Suggestions please.
@tripleWithV C7 doesnt have CBD but C6-01 has it, then C7 has 8GB built in memory where with C6-01 you need an extra SD card..then C6-01 is only 3.2 inches screen

Unreasonable price. there are a lot smartphones out there better than this and cheaper. it is sluggish, bad audio, sometimes unresponsive to touch.
@mbisar i don't know how many GBS does the e72 have but the c7 has an 8Mpx Camera and an 8Gb internal memory. it supports micro sd cards of even 32 GB,
How can there be no auto focus on an 8mp camera? Love the hardware but the software needs an overhaul in the looks department. Nice phone overall though.

Hows the battery ?
I believe Nokia has the best battery and even if we listen to music or surf internet constantly it does not get drained .

@DoItLikeABosss nokia 701 is the improved version of the c7 and runs symbian belle.it has 1 ghz processor 512 ram and a better screen.

@lilmario0 it's about 300-450 euros, depends on where u buy it. not that bad, but much more expensive than some other nokia phones.
