- Dragon's Dogma 2 has excellent open world, on par with Elden Ring. However, this masterwork suffers issues like terrible vocation balance, power creep, dragonsplague (useless mechanic), and reset of progress if you die in the unmoored world. Not even mentioning the egregious microtransactions and terrible performance.
Overlooking these flaws, DD2 is a good game and MY GOTY 2024 (for now)

Legit tip for the folks around for the Sphinx. When she asks how many riddles you solved, she will place her wings up in the air and she'll only show that many purple feathers as many statues you have to bring over. She actually tells you the answer.

@@MadameBaking I save scummed my first attempt of the Riddle of Recollection because I didn't count the Riddle of Reunion and I noticed she's doing it at the first time and I got sure the second time.

Edit: Some comments have pointed out that I mistook the hooded pale figure as the Seneschal when he’s actually a Pathfinder. An honest mistake, but I cannot go back in time to name him correctly.
The quest where you have to save the town from saurians. Just sit on the bench and doze off for a full day it'll pass the quest for you

The seneschal is not the hooded guy. I think he is kind of a replacement because the real one refused to do his job. The seneschal is the arisen that give you the godbane blade. He sit on the same chair and also pulled the sword from his own chest. The crazy guy said that he bored of being seneschal so he came to stay under the sea instead.
Technically the seneschal was on our side this time and so did the dragon. The dragon didn't really want to fight and giving away hint to beat the cycle. What it said during the ride and the fight made sense. It was not supposed to be the final boss. However the game is really lacking the final boss to replace it. Which was kind of sad when the fight boss was a cutscene
Wished there was a brine bossfight, but I bet my money that it’s cut content for DLC. Yeah I made a mistake with the seneschal/pathfinder, both designs looked really similar

The editing and memes were really good! It kept me engaged throughout the whole duration of the video. As for criticism, sometimes the audio sounds like you're talking through an earphone mic, but that kinda makes the video funnier in a way 😂
@@latinguitar2Ah, I can’t do anything about it. Basically when I play this game it overheats my gaming laptop so I’ll have to turn on the fan to cool it. If I don’t modify my mic in game, you’ll be hearing a lot of noise pollution

I complete all the Harve's quests before Melve's quest, end up the beasten dude got chased out of the village and move to the slum in the city and when Ulrika move to Harve she just stand there doing nothing and after saving Melve the beasten dude return to Harve because Ulrika off screen talking to the old chief. I don't even know she becomes the new chief. I thought her quest line was boring 😂 but the full version is so much better and make her way more interesting
Wait so you didn't complete the latter half of the questline where Lanart rebels against the soldiers and the romance?
Imo i don't get why Ulrika falls in love with us. Yes, saving someone from death deserves gratitude, but I just don't see it as a dorrway to romance.

I platinumed it like 4 days ago, got 180 tokens (for the staff) and I'm still playing lol I'm in my third run.
I also got 180 tokens for the lewd outfit plus legion’s staff, the ring is very useless tbh.
I’m on NG+, and completed the same side quests and sphinx riddles I did in NG.
I hope the DLC comes out soon
Was the dragons name ever mentioned in this game? I'm on my second runthrough with a new character after finishing the game with the true ending with my level 73 Arisen. But I don't recall ever hearing the name "Grigori" during the game. Which is weird, since he introduced himself as Grigori first thing in the first game right at the beginning when he stole the Arisens heart.
No he didn't. But just for the sake of me narrating, it's better for me calling him Grigori rather than Dragon when I mention "lesser dragons" 'dragondeeznutz" all the time

How did you get to battle 2 ogres?? They were some of my favorite fights in the first game, but so weak in this one
They invaded me while I travelled from Venworth to Checkpoint Rest Town using an ox cart, I’m not sure
