Why is Lisa the most popular member of Blackpink when she easily has the worst solo music? Even her new music sucks, it doesn't sound like she left YG at all. And permission to dance is probably the worst BTS single ever but its hard for me to hate it sense it wasn't meant to have any crazy depth to it, its just a song to help people through the pandemic and it did just that so even if it isn't for me, I appreciate it

She could release the worst song ever and it'd still get a lot of streams just cause its lisa but doesnt mean its good. New woman is her best song and its still mid. I absolutely hated Rockstar.. from the beat to the what in the edm pop music are you calling rockstar about you? when lady gaga said she was a rockstar she had a point... the "lisa can you teach me japanese" will never make sense to me. i love lisa but rockstar was not it. also there are some great vocals and the melody is not half bad, but i can't listen to GOT the beat's step back.. you can't have literally some of the greatest vocalists in kpop in one group and give them that cacophony in the back when they sing??? the instumental that happens when seulgi and taeyeon start singing and that runs in the chorus and which even the song ends on is horendous and i can't imagine how anyone listens to it and actually thinks it sounds good. i get it, sm is experimental, but i've never before physically hurt when listening to an experimental sm song before step back.
I agree with a lot of these. I'm an ARMY and Dynamite, Butter and PTD were never made to be deep songs, nor were they meant to be taken seriously. They were just fun little songs BTS made to cheer people (and likely themselves) up during the pandemic. It's also a shame about Lisa because I feel like she could do sm more but YG just keeps giving her stuff like that.

I kinda liked the first 3 songs but ik they’re trash and sometimes a girls just gotta like garbage🤷🏾♀️ but yeah zombie is definitely giving more of a 💤ombie vibe. Boring af from beginning to end. And ptd is cute but the song it self is pretty bad. We will not be talking about the fashion crimes in that mv tho. I don’t want my eyes to burn again💀
PTD was a song that got me into BTS but I agree, it's quite a different genre than the usual music they produce but then again, it was meant for the pandemic and not for a live show. However, Lalisa and Rockstar were absolute pieces of trash. Hell, was it well said.
