Torrei doesn't get it, she has a simple mindset talking about I'm not into material things, I don't even own a Chanel bag smh. Her and Kevin hart aren't socially conscious at all. Nick knows who he is, his history and purpose. He's educated.
Lol what makes me side smile is that she doesn't have a Chanel bag so that is the "proof" that she isn't materialistic , but living in a 7 figures priced mansion eating 200+$ meals, traveling whenever and wherever she wants .. being materialistic or not is so aleatory. There is no rule, price limit or list that if you fit in you are being labeled as such or not . We are all materialistic at some degrees , not owning labels or refusing them doesn't make you someone with a pure mind and soul non pollluted by material things . Give up all the material things that you see as necessities and are luxuries like Cars , tv computer 2 bedroom 2 bathroom when you live alone, those 2 extra pairs of shoes you don't need etc etc.. purge yourself from all that purge yourself from feeling the need of ownership and then we can talk about not being materialistic . I grew up in Egypt on the roofs of old Cairo where there's is no water no electricity I had my first pair of real closed shoes (not plastic flip flops ) when I turned 12. I'm only 29 so this was happening in the 90's and still happens today . I smile at American people who say that they lived in the ghetto because they have no parcs in their neighborhood where kids can play , or they grew up poor because their daddy didn't have a car or they had to inherit their older sibling clothes and couldn't afford jordans or taking a vacation . I cried many nights to sleep because I was hungry . I watched my mom say "I'm going to get something to eat lay down while I'm gone " because she had nothing to give us and tricked our hunger with sleep . Your trash is someone else's treasure . Those old pairs of messed up jeans or shoes you throw away is a kid's dream somewhere in the world . Those people drowned in money and lost all sight of perspective in life . Torrey baby take the bus or walk to your appointments for one day and come back talking about you aren't a materialistic person

Another thing, people want the success that Nick has but people don't want to put in the insane amount of work that this man puts in. People don't want that lupus. People don't want that kidney failure. Things have happened to him that would have killed or knocked anybody else out of this, he has a endurance that's on a different level so he can hook people up as much as he wants but they can never reach his level. It's a mindset that by certain age if you haven't acquired, it's not going to happen.

Claiming to be a part of a religion or a philosophy and not even knowing the basics is kind of ok I guess if you are learning but don't jump on the conversation if you don't have enough informations to exchange . I'm not Christian but the way she reduced Christianity and Jesus' message that was clearly altered by white men at a time to serve their interests and her lack of distance and comprehension of this basic information really disappointed me .. and the way she cuts someone's interesting thoughts to promote herself or say some very shallow things really surprised me and made me think she must rehearse well her interviews because that was really very different from the image she portrays habitually
