Ruthie Foster came thru Denver a number of years ago with her friend Syd at an outside celebration and she was great. Still have a CD I bought that day. Love the way she makes an oldie a newie like this rendition of Ring of Fire!

If she didn't like the melody of the song or the chords then why is she using the words. I mean, why not just play a different song? All the vocal gymnastics SO overdone and she has no idea of the actual melody of the song.
