You can always tell when someone else really cares about their job. I have almost identical tools between my backpack and toolbags. I used to carry around my veto tech pac...its 10lbs empty. The MC is 8lbs empty. SO, I downgraded to my TP-LC and my occidentals. I prefer carrying much much less weight and I havent run into many situations where im missing a tool. My backpack was weighing in close to 38lbs...so the 14lb tp lc and my occi's are just a personal preference. BTW, im trying to decide on a ratcheting screwdriver atm...do you think those vessels are worth it? seems silly to have to carry so many of the long shanks just to change bits lol.
The last time I weighed my bag it was around 30 pounds. But it honestly is not that bad too carry for me and is worth it in my situations to go ahead and be prepared. And when I am working in buildings were it is a long walk, I usually set my backpack on my rolling packout. So weight really isn't an issue. And on residential service calls, I absolutely love taking my pack in it just has everything I need hand tool wise, and accessories for my m12 impact drill. About the vessel screw driver it had/has it specific jobs for me . I really like use it when I demo load centers and adding new ones. That ball grip fits really well in balm of your hand and then for it too rachet man it is awesome. Then it doubles for a stubby driver if needed. On the bits for it yes it could be cumbersome for someone too carry extra bits for it . I have three . #3 Phillips, #2 Phillips and flat I forgot exactly what size on flat . But that's mainly how I use it is on flat head screws. But you can but whatever 1/4 " driver bits in ratcheting ball as you need . My opinion on it is it is good , good quality and worth the purchase
Great choice in tools my man, but can I give you some advice? I have the ordinary veto back pac - got it two years ago. Love it. But DAMN was it heavy, 51 lbs and not close to full! So, I did a tool overhaul, and I had similar to what you have, but see a lot of unnecessary items. For example, you have combo linesman pliers and linesman pliers, two big beater screw drivers, multiple insulated same size screw drivers, knipex twingrips, two needle nose, etc - what I would recommend is keeping a side tool bag in your vehicle, put everything you have extras of or just don’t use that often in that, then when you DO need them, they’re just a walk away in your vehicle! Obv each job has jobs specific tools (right now I’m currently working with MI (Minerally insulated) cable and all I need is my pliers wrench, cobras, Flathead, linesman LOL) - but, you can use that extra tool bag to swap in what you really need from you daily veto bag you have here! Just passing info I rec’d that really helped me when I was an apprentice and saved my fucking back! Plus, more tools, esp shiny nice tools, the more people see and want! LOL. Good luck out there brother!
I replied too you other reply trying too have way explain why I have two of some things. It's for a reason, not just for looks, or for extra weight. It's because they have there specific tasks and some times I'm just trying new tools and cycling them through . And really? You are asking why I have the knipex twin grips ...... why wouldn't I? You must not ? Now you you have any more questions I may have missed I would love too tell you why or what reason I have each and every one of my tools . Thanks
I ve lived in Europe for 7 years before moving here to the US, and the rates here are crazy! Where I am at Union Journeyman Electricians make more than 50$/H + Full Benefits (including 2 pensions)...And I live in a part of PA where cost of living isn't crazy (In Philadelphia it's more than 65$/H)
Hello. You mentioned that you are an aprentice.. The quality and variety of your tools are excellent! What do you need to do to be a certified electrician and when? Saludos from Mexico 🇲🇽
Thank you for the positivity. And don't quote me but off of the top of my head I think it's 4,000 hours of on the job training and or school witch I am in . I'm on my last year of school. When I get done with this apprenticeship program I will I eligible too take journey man .it typically takes 3 too 4 years too get journey man's

Idk how people like those backpacks. I work in automation and use a Klein one for climbing up grain elevators but I can’t imagine hauling that big ass bag around all day
This is actually a small backpack . I did have a milwaukee packout one and yes they are too big too load around all day with it on your back .but the veto pro-pac tech pac mc is perfect size for what I need .
Dude my veto back pack gets HEAVY! I had it packed out when I first got it (and not even close to full capacity) just everything I would carry in my open top bag, and it weighed in at 51 lbs! So I def lightened the load. I love the bag bc it’ll last me forever and has way better access then any of the other backpacks. This dude just has too much unnecessary shit, and a lot of doubles (who needs two pair of linesman, two beaters, etc?).
@Mike Normandy because each one of my tools I use for Specific jobs . And for the type of work I do and the love I have for my job and tools what I have works for me . Also I do use a pouch that I Hip carry and I load it out with tools in my backpack and just what I need at that time . That's also why I have too different style linesman pliers in my bag one is small and combination style and one is full size . I just put witch one I prefer too use that day in my side pouch I like each one for certain tasks. Also for my beater driver YES I have two . One is full tang one is not so also has its own tasks. I have not once complained about the weight of my bag, and honestly you will not hear me complain either. I injoy tools. I like trying new tools .I love my job .I love what I do for a living and this bag with my tools in it ..... well I love it So keep following I am new at this but I do want too keep posting and we can talk about it
@RsFrag3d I doubt it . I've been in charge of my OWN truck for two years . Have had different helpers in those years . I have had different tool bags for the past 4 years . I'm pretty sure I am figuring it out just fine .I have everything I need for this bag . No more and no less . I am a full grown MAN I think I would know if my bag was too heavy for me ...... but it is not . And I have not said anything about it being too heavy. Because I can handle it . Some of this men need too grow up and grow a back bone and muscle 💪
Nice Loadout 👍
I like those combination wire nuts myself, and those Knipex Forged Wire Strippers are the best I’ve ever used.
Everything looks brand new. Do you actually use them
Ha . Yes sir I do . I don't have a choice but to use them, I am Lead electrician on my truck . I just take care of my tools.

I could definitely see those twin grips coming in handy for screws with buggered up heads out. Need to get some of those for my setup
