My friends new GF had a problem with getting to sleep with someone else breathing in the room, so he had her play "rain sounds" on her phone at night next to her bed when he wasn't there, she started not only to get used to noises while sleeping but began to fall asleep faster and get a better (longer and deeper) nights sleep as a result!

Sarah Millican is possibly the best comedian in Britain right now. No politics, no spite, no posing just real humour based upon life experience. Love her to bits and will be seeing her live this year....again. Glad you liked her too ladies👍😁.

All tickets refunded and I've never managed to see her in a full show since (I think I'm cursed a far as Sarah is concerned because I was due to see in 2020, but lockdown happened so it was then postponed, postponed again then cancelled), though I've caught her in her tryout gigs, her and half a dozen other comedians testing their new stuff.
Before my husband got his CPAP machine (for sleep apnoea, which he refused to get diagnosed for 10 YEARS) I would get agitated when he STOPPED breathing. He was a champion foghorn snorer, but it was really uneven snoring... there'd be this gap in his breathing, where there was just silence; I'd be like "Oh my god, when's he going to breathe.. has it been too long? Should I do something... how long is too long--" and then he'd let rip with a deafening snore that would scare the crap out of me. And that cycle would continue over and over, ALL NIGHT. I got earplugs... his snoring broke through the earplugs. Now he's got the CPAP machine it's like sleeping next to Darth Vader every night - but it's heaven compared to the bad old days of his snoring!

A comedian you must watch is Sir Billy Connolly. There are so many short clips that are hilarious, one is 'The incontinent pants' this is hilarious. One a bit longer is with a chat show that started his tv career, his last appearance on it is 'Parkinson's Last Show Interview with Billy Connolly ' But any clip of him will be found to be very funny.
IMO, Billy is the greatest. Maybe it's because half of my family are Scots, but I totally relate to his stories. His telling of the Glasgow airport terror attack is amazing. A US chat show piece where he's talking about a "fart machine" is hysterical.

A lot of UK comedians tell a story instead of one-liners and Sarah Millican is really good. With regard to annoying things, I can't stand people waffling on instead of getting to the point so I interrupt part way through their telling me something - which drives men nuts apparently??? 🙄😂

Sarah’s boyfriend/ husband is also a stand up comedian and I think that I am right in saying that they have appeared as panel members on the same episodes of a series called “Mock the Week “ On BBC 2, I think that they were on opposing team’s but that’s neither here nor there. Sarah also appears on occasion on another comedy/ quiz show called Qi, which is more of a individual effort than a team game. It used to be hosted by Steven Fry, but he gave it up when they got halfway through the alphabet. The new host is a deminutive Danish lady called Sandi Tostgiv( pardon my spelling if it’s wrong). I think that if you can find an episode of either program that Sarah appears in you should be entertained.
