I have to say I'm rather impressed with the knowledge and capability of this battle. i sense that you take much pride in making sure every line and every moment in the beat is on point. This is some good stuff! For some reason, the S and T sounds in Cloud's verses were very... piercing, and his final lines felt a bit anticlimactic, but aside from that this was overall amazing. The lyrics and rapping were fantastic, the costumes were very accurate (you even got Cloud's hair right without making it look like a super obvious wig!), and the backgrounds and editing were awesome as always. Gotta give it to Link, though. Maybe I'm biased, as I've never played Final Fantasy, but I just enjoyed his verses more.
YES! Now I get to explain Cloud's final lines. Cloud has a very famous quote in Final Fantasy 7 “No one lives in the slums because they want to. It's like this train. It can only go where the tracks take it.” So we took that metaphor turning the train track into a rap track. It could come off as anticlimactic for someone who doesn't know the games, but it's actually one of my favorite lines I've ever written!
