I have a touring in same color. Took a 1650 mile trip with charged only at beginning. With regenerative braking and driving in maximum charging mode in mountains through Colorado and Utah, I got 200 miles on battery.
Got one. Getting over 1,500 miles per tank plugged in every night and sometimes multiple times on the weekends. Just paid $28 to fill it up and with electric costs it came out to $100 for that 1,500 miles. Compared to our Volvo XC90 that was on premium and only getting 19mpg on average, it would have cost us $280+ easily for those same miles.
Have a 2021 phev Pinnacle trim -- loving it! No problems. Great on the road. Getting 38 - 42 miles per charge in stop-n-go city traffic. Surprised his ICE so loud -- wonder if it's the S trim..... can't hear or feel when engine kicks in on mine.
Hi, may I know where you live? I live in US, I am hearing terrible transmission issues with this vehicle. How is your experience with this vehicle so far?
@56:04 Is there a reason why they got rid of the blue ray disc insert here? I heard there were some software issues in early 2022 that made it not work well for some customers, but for them to completely get rid of the disc insert instead of just fixing the software seems like a rip off.
You really don't need awd. I live in Canada, and I've had 4wd, awd, and 2wd vehicles. I would take 2wd + snow tires over 4wd/awd with all seasons any day of the week. Especially considering what the minivan is for, and the ground clearance, awd doesn't really make sense.
Chrysler needs to add a digital rear view mirror so driver can see through the rows of passenger. It should be standard in this price point and for this segment.
There's a very good warranty on the car however I strongly recommend if you put a lot of miles on the car to look into the Mopar unlimited 7 year warranty. It literally covers everything regardless of the amount of miles you've been on it for 7 years. If you get the hybrid model, The battery is covered for a 150000 miles, And the moper unlimited word he would cover everything else and I mean everything.
Does anyone has experience with the latest safety recall for engine stalling on highway? I got a new hybrid version 2 months back and worried about the reliability after spending 55K a huge money.
@@MikesCarInfo Thank you, but I'm not asking about full EV mode. If you have it in hybrid mode with the gas engine joining in, how long does the battery last~ how many miles. Thanks again~

Ride is smooth . Audio is great interiors are done well .hope to get entire tax xredit for savings to kick in immediately
Great review, but your blanket statement on ALL plug in hybrid vehicles being useless unless plugged in is in error. Most I've seen will charge with regen brakes, regen from the motor, and hold charge when you want to save your charge for in town driving. Beware the blanket statements.
I didn't say the vehicle is useless. It is useless to buy a plug-in hybrid if you are not going to "use" the plug-in feature. If one does not want to plug in their vehicle there are better options available then a plug-in hybrid... A regular hybrid for example.
Hi, may I know where you live, US or Canada? I live in US, I see so many are complaining about transmission issues. So many vehicles have already been recalled. How is your experience so far with Pacifica Hybrid?
I have this vehicle on order (white with the S appearance and theatre package) and should get it in the next month or so but the dealer couldn't answer this question, does this trim have the vacuum?
I’m about 75% yes on the wheels. There are definitely worse, like bright chrome, and there are better. This don’t offend me. I applaud Chrysler for blacking out the tacky plastic-chrome that they used to be famous for. This would be the look I would go for. Except I shouldn’t say Chrysler. It’s Stellantis now I believe. Maybe not on the signs at the dealerships but behind the scenes at corporate.
I dont think thats soo bad! Despite I'm not a fan of modern cars. But it does look like a car to live in... Okay, I know that might make me sound insane, but its does look like it had all the house furniture, the rear sunshades are like the blinds. So who knows? Why not live in one of these if you cannot afford a house? But still, looks neat! Who doesn't like it? It reminds me also of the Durango which I also like.
@@MikesCarInfo that's not how lithium ion batteries work. It's getting charged every time you drive. Doesn't need to be full. In fact, it's better for the battery, long-term, if you only charge between 20-80%. You might think 0% on the gauge cluster means the battery is at 0% capacity. That's not the case. Car makers dumb it down for the consumer. 0% on the gauge means "oh, the battery is too low to use, but don't worry, it still has about 10-20% left because we know about prolonging battery life".
@@mtbrdude No this vehicle does not charge the battery when you drive like some other plug-in hybrids. Zero electric range forever unless plugged in to charge. Ideal battery charge is roughly 40-60% and it will never get to that level without plugging it in.
@@sharathpaka4198 It can recoup some energy when braking but not enough to charge the battery. MPGe rating is based on charging the vehicle regularly by plugging it in. See window sticker at 1:18:23 without plugging it is it gets 30mpg.

make sure to rotate your gas tank fuel every 3 month or the repair fee might not be worth the gas savings

it calculates MPGE which allocates an amount to electricity as if its is a gas equivalent, it makes sense because electricity is not free
Why why why can't this have 8 passenger? I would trade in my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica touring L+ for this hybrid!
Probably weight reasons. 8 adults plus a 400 pound battery pack is probably more weight than what the chassis and brakes can safely handle.
Even if you don't plug it in you get the fuel economy benefits of it being hybrid.
Yes a little. The benefit is mitigated by lugging around a relatively unused (heavy) battery that will fail prematurely if not charged regularly.
