- Let's explore some techniques using color burst powders. I have had these for years and I love the results but often forget to use them. I will use them through a stencil and try a paint resist technique.

I think The Crafter’s Workshop has a new line of pigment powders too. But if you just wanted to try colored powders, unsweetened Kool-aid would work as would any of those craft store tie-dye kits. Harder to use those powders because they don’t come in a dispensing bottle but you can always pinch and sprinkle. If you don’t want to dye your hands, then wear gloves.
The burnt orange and turquoise one reminds me of goldfish swimming underwater, so pretty!!! ❤❤❤

I love Tonic Shimmer powders and Lindys magicals.
Cool! TFS. I had to go play with mine after seeing this!! Try resist on photo paper with versamark! It is really fun too!! And it works with sprays too!
I love the reverse numbers. I like the messy looking ones too but I do like the sharpness of that one

I have these too. I hope to get them out and play with them also. Love the stencil ideas. And splattering. The backgrounds turned out so nice!
Love this idea, going to try this for my atc swap. Should be interesting trying to do it on such a small surface. I really like using Lindys magicals (think that's the brand name) to change the color of my various texture pastes before applying them. Is easy to mix the colors in, and, as you said, a little goes a long way. ;)
I've tried it on tags and it is difficult to not have too much powder. Lately I've been using larger paper and cutting it down. Fun & messy though, either way 😊
