Opera follower currently living in the States for most of your adult life and unfortunately forgetting the use of Cantonese due to the lack of using using it. I can understand your agony when listening to the context of words which you should be fluent but you are not. As a matter of fact, I am in the same boat as you are as I am citizen of United Kingdom having lived here for more than 40 year from Hong Kong. My Cantonese speaking skill has deteriated Beyond regornize but there is nothing I can do. I envy you have chance of coming back to Hong Kong and have the opportunity of seeing and listening real artists performing on stage. 劇情有坊間，到師府，到金殿，又有戰場，最後大团结局。故事交待十分流暢，清晰。
大團圓結局就相當精彩，錯綜而清晰，起死回生，一場戲就峰回路轉了。
此劇雖是古劇，女主角實為現代女性典範。能治病救人，亦能施計行軍，但不失嬌柔相夫，可是女性的最高境界。
倆人唱功做功都一流！
