Hello sir Recently i am facing some engine sound issues in my classic 350 bs3. Firstly I enquired at RE authorised service centre about the issue they said after inspecting sound of bike that 90% its a issue of crank sound and after opening the engine they will confirm. And i have shown the same to a local mechanic and he also confirmed and told that service centre will replace the crank with new in addition fuel pump, hydraulics, cluch plates and some of other parts also leading to a expenditure of around 35-40 thousand or more. So i am thinking if these parts are to be replaced with new one already so is there any possibility that i can get my 350 cc converted to a 500 cc is it possible???
I visited jaipur last week for 2 days. Surprisingly, the friend I was meeting lives right next to Imli Phatak and nearby Wahid Bhai's workshop. The day I was leaving jaipur, I saw your engine being split at the workshop. Couldn't find you, so didn't stop by.

You can bt you will have to change a lot of stuffs and that's gonna cost you a bomb....starting from head bore, carb pump, magnet, wiring etc....equivalent of getting a new engine

Hi Mantavya, i am thinking of doing this upgrade of my 500cc.It also had developed connecting rod noise. Reboring it to 535 and adding 535cc piston. How successful it is in long term? Did you face any issue after conversion? Do you recommend to do it or should i use 500cc bore piston kit from RE.
but 26k is less no. right...itne mein toh clutch plate bhi nhi khraab hota hai because i have done 27k on my avenger street220 with mostly on touring in himalayas but still my bike is ok is it company defect or oil nhi check kiya tha???.
@@Mantavya I am also using same oil and it's very good for city commuting and it is equivalent to motul 5100 but castrol comes with 2.5 litre pack instead of buying 3 pack of motul so castrol is convenient in using as well and i have been using this oil in my classic 350 and its life is 4500 to 5000 km easy
Hey .. Been a subscriber since few months and I have enjoyed most of the videos so far as I too have the same bike.. Quick question here.. I noticed that my bike have ran around 36k and stated giving out white smoke and drinking oil.. so planning to bore and put on a 535 piston.. I'm getting mixed openion regarding this as some say you cannot go on long rides after that , bike becomes delicate, can't push it to limits and so on.. So since you hav done it ,I just wanna know is it worth it?? Should I go ahead with it?? Is that a better option and safe as well??? Kindly give me you openion regarding this , as you I guess you might have put on few kms by now and can give me an actual perspective.. Thank you .. looking forward to hearing from you.. I've heard getting the piston bore is not successful in the classic 500 I too have same model as yours and mine was consuming engine oil so I had to change the piston as well as I got the crank fixed. A note for all C500 owners :- Always use the engine oil of the prescribed grade by RE and never use fully synthetic oil in your bike. I'd like to know Brother because I recently saw your ladakh ride as well. So did the bike give any issues? Curious to know. P.S. Following you for quite a long time now and I got to see your face in the ladakh trip 😂

Boring is not successful in UCE engines. I've had one myself. But eventually on long rides it'll start eating oil & you'll have to replace the whole cylinder kit.
@@imochasingh6875 The rational way to think would be to say that boring out a cylinder is always an after market job, and like all after market jobs there is a risk of a screw up, and you have no guarantee that it will go right or wrong. Sure your workman might have done an excellent job but there is still no guarantee, it is and not worth it at the same time. In that regard a new set would be costly but could yield reliable and consistent results. At the end it all comes down to how much of a risk taker you are. If you know an amazing machine shop then I think you should just take the risk, if you don't know anybody then you should just buy a new set.

hah hah doesn't make any sense, company kyu karegi aisa when they have a name 'classic 500' to run, not even classic, all they're famous for are the 350and 500 singles how do you think the gt535 came back to life? why do you think people call it the big bore 500, that's all it is. a bigger bore, single spark plug and a 36t rear sprocket and han farak hai
the pin which u were speaking about is called gudgeon pin. frankly speaking i drive RE but i m not satisfied with quality standards which we get in india and bs4 engine is little messed up .......but i must say the new interceptor engines are good.

I live in Jaipur Mansarovar and my Bullet classic 350 (DL-11-SF-8885) ws stolen by thieves on 3June in broad daylight from outside my house. When i reached Police for FIR, they told me in last couple of weeks there are other Bike missing/steal cases in same area of mansarovar region out of which 2-3 are bullets. Friends we spend a lot in customisation and mods of our bullet bt we underestimate somewhere its security measures. So guys pls take effective measures for Bike lock and security also. 🙏🏻
Changing silencer always fucked up your crank so it's better to keep the orignal silencer which come from company .

I think it would be possible to buy a new cylinder as well as the piston, but it would be more cost effective to just bore out your existing cylinder.
