@@Nismology5 Have the Korg Vaparous soundset loaded from Mystery. But damn, most thick supersaw leads I heard from the Triton. Wonder how they sound on the Le.
@@Nismology5 ... just wondering how this is coming along? I'd also be keen to get a hold of this soundbank when you're able to make it available. Cheers!
@@rossredman I've been renovating my studio, so everything's in a mess just now. Once I get a chance to dig the Triton out again I'll see about uploading the PCG file
Is there a possibility that the system files (pcg, combi, sequencer / song / and pcg with samples) that I made on my Korg Triton Classic, will be originally loaded into Korg Triton Extreme ??? 🙄 🤔
No USB. It's too old. It has a floppy drive 💾 For PC connection it has MIDI in/out/thru. You can buy a USB-MIDI interface. Or you can buy the EXB-SCSI expansion which is pretty obsolete.

@@sixdegreesofgaming4719 Congrats. It's a classic keyboard. I spent a lot of time with the Korg M50 (Krome predecessor), and although the sound ROM is much bigger and the acoustic instruments are generally more realistic, I would personally take the Triton any day. The Triton is a true pro keyboard and is built like one, with one of the best keybeds ever, where as M50/Krome has one of the worst (no exaggeration) as they're totally plastic construction built to be cheap. The sound fidelity at the outputs is also much better on the Triton. That said if it's your only synth you'll probably get more sonic mileage out of the Krome, depending on the type of music you make. For trance type stuff you really can't beat a Virus or AN1x, or numerous software plugins, this was just a fun exercise to see what I could push from the Tritons '90s sound ROM.
@@Nismology5 Sweet! I also own a Roland Fantom X8 which obviously does have the best acoustic instruments. I also want to learn how to sample sound into the Triton and insert the sound expansion boards. Any idea how to get started with that stuff? Thank you 😎
@@sixdegreesofgaming4719 My Triton is completely unexpanded (though I suspect a previous owner once had the MOSS physmod board installed due to the Sondius XG sticker on the front panel of mine). If you want to sample on the Triton, you're either gonna have to get used to using floppy disks 💾, or look into the SCSI expansion that lets you hook up an HDD. It's pretty old school, and not really something I've spent a lot of time doing. I'm not a sampling guy at all, but I tend to add the minimal samples I do use post-recording in my DAW. It's just so much easier these days. That said I've been really tempted to grab the new Teenage Engineering K.O. II. 👀
Sadly I've never played a Z1, though I would love to try one someday. I very nearly got a Prophecy last year though. The Triton is a great synth, probably my favourite workstation ever.
@@Nismology5 Thanks for the reply, I got a like new Prophecy from Japan last month and love it. Naturally I'm itching for polyphony haha, and can't decide between the Triton and Z1 (Triton seems half the price).
@@helisoma Tough decision! If you're intching for a poly Prophecy then the Z1 seems the way to go. The Triton excels in different areas, but can't do the cool physmod stuff unless you install the MOSS expansion board (rare and expensive). If you can score a good deal on a Trinity V3, that's a beautiful keyboard that comes preinstalled with MOSS.
the reverb and delay effects sound so smooth and vintage! GREAT Patches.

Please make more videos like this especially as full fledged electronic performance with drums and all instruments of the keys itself
Absolutely Brilliant!!

Hi there are these a combination of dance and trance ie separate rooms . Robert Miles piano from trance?
Is that a Roland mc 505 or 909 next to it?
