I haven't traveled Carnival in over 10 years, I am going on this ship in December, but what I am most disappointed in, the $$$$ for specialty dining. Seems every other line I travel on, has deals for 3, 5, 7 nights of specialty dining that makes it affordable. $42 PER ADULT for dinner each night is just crazy. The cruise is already costing me $2,500 for my wife and I, and that is before I pay for parking at the terminal. So... unless this cruise blows me away compared to Royal Caribbean or Norwegian, the fact that they want an extra $84 + 18% tip each night for dinner, is making me think it will be another 10 years before I go on Carnival again.
Thanks for sharing your concerns. We hope the experience is better than you are predicting, but we hope you return here to let everyone know what you thought.
That’s a good point. Perhaps saving the Specialty Dining meal for a special occasion/celebration dinner is a a good way to save but still experience both options.
What a great episode! I really enjoy it when you discuss extraordinary things on your channel.
Thanks for watching.

You could go to the MDR, you don't HAVE to eat at specialty dining every night...
