Good hitting Sean. Can't wait to see you play and win tournaments and take it to the next level in 2025. Ella - good on you for being Sean's rock. Behind every successful man is a good woman that supports him. Kudos to you.
stunning to see about your good game and see you struggling coming to the better rankings, or at least regularly challenger competitions to keep the earnings in line with the costs.
Hey Sean, would love if you did a video similarly styled but also including a finance breakdown if possible. Or maybe like a quarterly video about spending and whatnot. I would love to watch something like that, cheers. Rooting for you mate.
You look pretty composed mate!! I'm so glad you ditched that heavy and slow pro staff!! That was holding you down. The Nordicdot gear looks really cool, so much that I am going to purchase some. The racket you played with is working. Very crisp forehand and looked like a lot more spin you were able to generate with ease. The ball just goes down with a lot heavier arc. I love your positive energy. Keep it up and good luck for next year!
Hi Sean, just joined your channel, really enjoying your videos, great insight into what a pro needs to do day to day! Respect ✊ By the way do Nordicdot give your subscribers a discount? Cheers Kim
Sean I think a lot of people wouldn't know the level of dedication and effort that goes into becoming a pro tennis player. You travelling for an hour and a half just to train is a wonderful insight into what it takes ro achieve your goals. I know over the last six months I have spoken with a lot of tennis players who want to become pro or are on the lower tennis circuit and it becomes very clear after a short chat that a lot of players just aren't going to make it. As a psychologist I am always interested to see the level of sacrifice that people will make to achieve their dreams and goals. Getting to the top in any sport is actually a lot harder than staying at the top once you get there. Keep going and keep pushing. 💪
Hi really enjoy your videos, how much does it all cost ? I mean I am in london and the Tennis clubs here charge exorbitant amount to play, specially for indoor courts , thankfully LTA have recently improved facilities in the parks and having forked out nearly 3200 per annum I have invested in Titan Ball machine, and enjoy tennis at no cost for morning sessions.
Hey, thank you 🙏 it’s expensive, I’m lucky I have people helping me with training etc, if I had to pay the full cost I’d no way be able to afford it. I’m doing a cost breakdown soon Do you have coaching
@@seanplaystenis Hey Thanks for reply, Nope, played tennis since I was a kid, self taught , you present a new perspective for players who want to excel and progress.. cost breakdown would be great.. specially court fees and like at various venues
Great question, I tried the barricade last year, I found them abit stiff and narrow, I used to use Uber sonic and liked those, I thought a very under rated pair they did were the court jam control, I was stuck for tennis shoes once and had to buy a pair as they were the only ones available and thought they were very good, comfortable and durable
Sean, I too am a Pro Staff v13 user. Added weight at 3, 6 and 12. Slightly lighter than the RF. LOVE IT! I also have a OHBH. Have you tried the Blade v9 18x20, the Yonex Percept 97, or the Head Prestige Pro? I find that those racquets are the closest to my Pro Staff in performance.
They are beautiful rackets especially for a single hander, I find that it’s hard to find a better racket than the pro staff. I haven’t tried the head prestige pro but the percept and the blade I have tried, I felt like the blade was abit too stiff for me. The yonex plays very well tho, both very good options
A few random thoughts… First, the paint on a racquet, although doesn’t play a huge factor, does have a role. To me, if I don’t enjoy how my racquet looks, it does affect me mentally a little bit. Next, you should try (if you haven’t yet) the new Nordicdots white colored racquet they’ve had some reviews on that is coming out. I haven’t tried it obviously, but the people who have hit with it seem to like it a little more than the version they have out now. Seems like a more control oriented line for their brand. Last, which racquet is in the lead for potential next racquet? You seem to hit great with the Extreme and Nordicdot racquet. The greyish/tan colored racquet in gloss is gorgeous!
Hey, great points. I think one of the reasons why I love the pro staff so much was because it was a stunning looking racket. I like the look of the white nordicdots racket, I’m sure I’ll get it to try out soon. I think at the moment the head extreme, the Nordicdots model 99 and pro staff 97 are probably the favourites in contention for the next racket
At stock I would say so yes, I’ve since added some weight to the head and it’s helped me hit slightly flatter. But it does help you generate more spin in my opinion
I’d say the court ff3 are more durable/ comfy But the speed ff3 are lighter more manoeuvrable, I was using the court ff3 and really enjoyed them but switched to the speed to get abit quicker. They are both very good shoes.
Mate Ella is a total legend! I hope you get her a decent Xmas pressie for her support to you👍 You are def playing some quality tennis mate. Also, could you not play the end of season British Tour masters tourny if its not been played yet? And glad to see the coffee's flowing! It really is the most important thing🤣🤣🤣☕️ Keep trucking mate👍👊👊
She is mate, need to look after her over Christmas 😂 you’re right Yeah I’ll be playing the British tour in Loughborough 👍💪 I’m doing a pre season block then will be back to competing The coffee is always flowing 😂thank you I will do 💪
@@seanplaystenisGoodluck for Loughborough mate. Would be great if you could get some footage of your matches👍 Yeah keep the coffee flowing mate! It will add an extra 20 mph to your serve and groundies!🤣🤣☕️☕️☕️
Thank you, the racket suprised me, the head shape helps to raise the sweet spot slightly, gives you abit more margin for error. I think they’re bringing a few more out soon so will get them in to try 👍
@@seanplaystenisa lot more stable than all the Yonex’s, exception the Regna that I have not tried out.All Yonex require some weight added on 3 and 9 to give a solid and plush feel. The nd 99 does not. Super stable. And trying out adding some( a little)weight, it does not perform as well. Strange. But stock form is great, so no problem.

Thank you 🙏 I’m putting in the work so we’ll see what happens 🤞🏻 she is amazing isn’t she
Found your channel yestersay and I absolutely enjoy your videos. I like how you explain your mindset during a training session. Keep going!
Thank you 🙏 really appreciate that, I’ll do my best 💪
more bring ella to work days please! shes hilarious, and the best camerawoman. the kit looks amazing
I’m sure there will be more Ella work days soon. Thank you 🙏 personally I think it’s amazing tennis kit, very high quality stuff

Thank you, yeah managing the cost is the most difficult part

im a uni student at bath great to see you play at county cup last weekend :)
Hope you enjoyed watching the tennis 💪 what a facility that is, I might come and train at bath at some point 👍

Any plans to do any British Tour events in the coming months?
Yes, planning to play British tour in Loughborough and Sheffield, first 2 weeks of training 💪

Nordic Dots kit looks good. Might switch and save me £££! Hod's 2025 season... Let's go!
Definitely! Give the kit a go 💪 let’s do this
Does extreme pro make you play with spin? Does it make you have more spinny swing path?
At stock I would say so yes, I’ve since added some weight to the head and it’s helped me hit slightly flatter. But it does help you generate more spin in my opinion

@ how much difference in cushion comfort ? I am so big on cushion so i am asking what % you think is different
The Asics Gel Resolution shoes are great, too. I feel that they have the best cushioning and stability on the market.
