Seriously only 9 comments??? This story seems like something out of the early 2000s when anyone could program something to build off of, this team under Geolayer def set standards of what mapping design would look like in web applications in the 2010-2020s. I hope they continue to build and develop the toolset long-term

brilliant to actually hear from the person/team behind geolayers. Marcus defo fly's below the radar, he should be all over RUclips with the product he's created 😀

So Markus focusing more on the webapp means less future updates on Geolayers for After Effects. I tried the webapp and honestly for someone that wants to create unique animations to stand out from the others, the webapp is the worst possible choice, since it has only the built-in things, unlike with AE where you can create your own presets, styles and animations.

The next needed step is a map animation app. Developers have to take into account that we spend most of our time on smartphones

I did talk to Jason Boone a few months ago, who used to work with Johnny on some of his map animations: ruclips.net/video/TOPsRdJgBhc/видео.html

The best place to reach out to Markus is probably through the Geolayers page: aescripts.com/geolayers/
