Investors days and convention hype announcements have ruined film/show development.
Things shift, change or in the process of development get shelved or cancelled, that’s the natural process of things. If they make these announcements before things are at a reasonable point, it’s damaging.
Yet the Acolyte still made it all the way through to air. sigh......

same but disney only seems to care about sequels and reboots smh.
Unfortunately, they make more money!
I would’ve preferred to have a movie remake than a TV show remake anyways.
My parents and I really enjoy watching Welcome to Wrexham and are excited for Season 4, even though we haven't finished watching S3 yet!

Swiss family Robinson is a classic Disney movie
Is the live-action "Tinkerbell" movie cancelled as well or is it still on schedule? I liked the direct-to-DVD "Tinkerbell" movies, which I watched on Disney Plus as a little warm-up for the live-action "Peter Pan & Wendy" movie, but, because it was so dreadful and didn't turn out the way I thought it would, the live-action "Peter Pan & Wendy" movie made me not want to listen to my "Peter Pan" audiobook nor watch the direct-to-DVD "Tinkerbell" movies nor the original animated "Peter Pan" movie produced by Walt Disney himself nor it's theatrical sequel anymore and the only thing that would make me want to watch the direct-to-DVD "Tinkerbell" movies again would be a "Tinkerbell" movie about how she came to be Peter Pan's fairy friend.
Wasn’t Reese Witherspoon meant to star in it as well? I remember hearing about it ages ago.
Yes, @@BrennySpain, Reese Witherspoon was meant to star in that live-action "Tinkerbell" movie and I was asking Roger if it's cancelled or still on schedule.

He did, @@BrennySpain! Roger said that the live-action "Tinkerbell" movie with Reese Witherspoon is a project that had been put on hold and that it'll be possible for it to come out and I hope that it will because I don't know how Tinkerbell came to be Peter Pan's fairy.
