Hi, the video is quite informative. I have a few queries: 1) are there any exit re-entry fees for expats ? (for example, if we have a resident visa & go on a holiday outside Kuwait or visit our home country & come back to Kuwait, are there any re-entry fees we need to pay to govt.) 2) Any Levy/fees for dependents? (like in Saudi if the husband is working & has a spouse & kids as dependents then he has to pay a dependent levy to the govt. for the number of dependents he has)
Hi. 1. No dear. As long as we have a valid Civil ID, there is no re entry or exit fees 2. Yes there is a fee for dependents which is to be paid to the government. This fee varies as per age and relationship of the dependent to the primary resident visa holder.
Hello. Thanks for the video. I have got an offer in Kuwait, will be traveling soon. Since I am new to Kuwait, which location would be best for residing with family which has easy access to schools and supermarkets.
Hi. Thank you for reaching out. There are many areas which have easy access to schools and supermarkets. Salmiya is the most popular among families. However, people also live in Farwaniya and Jaleeb with families which also have easy access to schools like Bhavans. There are few areas of Al Ahmadi as well where people stay with families because that area has easy access to Delhi Public school. So you can choose as per your budget and convenience. Stay connected 🙂
Hi dear. My house rent is 350 KD. Unfurnished single rooms start from 180-200 KWD but the cost varies as per location. I will make a detailed video regarding rent trends in popular areas soon. Stay connected 🙂
180 to 200 which location my children are in Kuwait they are looking for single bedroom flat at present they live in salmiya they want to go in single bedroom if you come across let me know
@@lucyxavier2157 Salmiya and Hawally are more expensive as compared to areas like Farwaniya, Jaleeb etc. But if they wish to stay in Salmiya only, then they can opt for old buildings with unfurnished rooms. They offer rent around 200 KD in old buildings of Salmiya Block 12 for one room kitchen or studio apartment (unfurnished)as we call it here. But mostly then electricity bill and water bill are not included
