The Minecart Coaster was a ride I loved as a kid. It was in my local park with the name Wild Mine Ride. It closed back in around 2015, my memories from it were the cart jolting and hurting my mum’s back as we went round the sharp turns!

@@ThemeParkWorldwide how’s western super mare. I love this channel. Been a fan for years and years and years and it gets better , especially seeing charlotte get more and more confident and cheeky lol
It must have been very good to go to 3 parks in one day. Thanks for these shaun. This is so good watching your videos. That little coaster looks great!
Another great vlog Shawn. Love the fact that you mention keeping these smaller theme parks afloat by making regular visits. So often these smaller parks get over looked by their bigger brothers like Alton Towers or Chessington. I live just three miles from Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and Joyland. I am eight miles from Pleasurewood Hills and about sixteen miles from Petites Of Reedham. It is joyful to keep these parks afloat and I think the summer months ahead they will see soaring crowd numbers as it's been a tough last eighteen months for everyone 😉👍👍👍
Looks like a good little park, its not too far so might head to it one day, the south coast is defo underappreciated in my opinion, there is just so much to do down here including these fun little pier parks
The park is opening up a Ghost Train soon (surprised you didn’t see it on your visit) and apparently it’s the old one from Ocean Beach Pleasure Park and they now have the old one from Pleasure Island Cleethorpes
I wonder if that snake slide is the same one that used to be on snake Island at the American adventure many happy memories climbing up on the ropes when a kid
Nice to see you supporting the local parks. Many of my childhood memories are in this place tho it's changed so much over the years as well. I'll always remember the little train. Some of the tracks can still be seen today. Shame some of the plant life attacked ya as well as that's an easy fix. Keep at it! May be your attend the longest street fair in the UK. Well again if it runs.
omg that mine ride used to operate at gullivers warrington! so many memories for me, i want to go here and relive them! i was only about 5 and rode it that many times the ride operator let me go through the exit and not queue! what a legend!
Watched @COASTERCRAZY is version of this park when the "Flume of Doom" was closed. Really disappointing that flume ride, really slow aswell. Could maybe involve a few indoor scenes? Especially on final drop and climb? Could even maybe have a redevelopment on the layout and add another small drop? Aswell maybe expand the last climb and drop out alot more to fit a bigger inside area and scene? Before final drop and splash point. But apart from that, amazing video. Would be good maybe to have another coaster if expanded like a big Dragon Coaster, with a lot of theming, but for now maybe improvements with scenes and more drops on flume. Cheers again. 😀👍
Great vlog as always Shawn & Charlotte! I was wondering if you guys had any plans on visiting Belgium soon. Two huge coasters have openend over there and i would love to see you going there!
the big red coaster used to be mine themed and was way faster with a loop-to-loop as well. they got too many complaints that it was too extreme and had to replace it. :(
They certainly have had a tough time, have spent a lot of time here and the people are amazing. The new Ghost Train has some cracking ideas behind it for later in the season.
The mine train there used to have a loop! They must have changed it! It used to be called Klondike Gold Mine or something. I haven't been there for years but used to go loads with my Dad! 😊
That's a completely different coaster which is now owned by a Florida based company. This mine train is the used to operate at Gulliver's Warrington before relocating here to replace the Zyklon.
well done at Funland Hayling Island in this action-packed vlog! We share on-ride POV's from the Runaway Mine Train Roller Coaster and The Flume Of Doom along with checking out the various other rides and attractions on offer at this small family amusement park! can't wait for the next update at a theme park on your channel, kee the good work Shawn and Charlotte on checking out the rides in the UK.
Hi Shawn! Do you remember your trip to energylandia? The new aqualantis zone with abyssus will be open soon. Probably on July 14. In addition, the new roller coaster boomerang will be under the patronage of the RUclipsrs group. Amazing how this park is growing fast, isn't it? I am waiting for your episode from trip to Poland :)
That log ride (whatever it's was called) absolutely amazing theming such fantastic detail I particularly liked the coffee cup on the dock and the thorn bushes where are nice touch 😁👍
I work on hayling island so seeing what the funland is like niw compared to going to it every summer as a kid, i miss it. Id love to just come back to it at some point again. Just loved the arcades, tickets and prizes. Still have the voodoo dolls/cuddly toys to this day. Dont think they do them anymore.
Hayling island is my second home 🏡 love it there but the log ride has a weight limit if noone knew, someone went on at 17stone and got stuck so remember that when you got on it... lovely vlog
Poor Charlotte that log flume's water did not look nice, thank you for sharing these 3 fabulous vlogs and now heard you are going to butlin's can't wait
Fantastic vlog from hayling Island, we're new subscribers to your channel, we've been going to hayling for the past 6 years, this year will be our 7th holiday, you most probably drove past the holiday park (parkdean) whilst heading to funland, we think you both are brilliant, and enjoy all your vlogs, especially this one, as we like hayling very much, we're from ellesmere port near Chester, and we make the annual trip every October to hayling, we also visit southsea too, great vlogs, and I hope your ice cream was nice charlotte, all the best
