Corvax sometimes a player thinks by immediately throwing they don't give the opponent enough time to DI the throw therefore dying. If he pummels the opponent can mash and get out of the grab. It's a mind game, you're so focused on mashing to release yourself from the pummel you don't DI the throw.

Another reason he's quiet is because of cultural differences. The Japanese are known of being quiet, even at sporting events. They see western noise as disrespectful. Or at least that's what the smash bros documentary said...
Also, he's not using the pocket invicinbility enough either. He could of survive that first stock take away in the first match, and he could avoided the pk freeze the first time as well.
Ranai could have totally shut out a lucas by camping a side of the stage and fairing over and over. The fact that he makes plays at all as villager is inspiring to say the least

the only time you pummel at higher percents so it takes longer to mash out and by then you can get around one or two pummels, allowing more knockback

Ok. Villy Down throw into N-Air into FF D-Tilt is a safe option against Lucas at low percentages. Why didn't Ranai use that setup at 4:50?
