Studying in the book of Revelation prompted me to reflect back on the song New Jerusalem with Betty, but I really enjoyed this rendition also. Just something about that city John tells of; Jesus left to prepare a place for us that where he is there we may be also….that good ole foot stomping, up and jumping, hand clapping hallelujah praise!!!
Wow! Thank you for posting this. It was the favorite song that I ever heard Silas Woodhouse play and sing, and every time he sang it, heaven would come down, and glory would fill our souls! I miss this man greatly, but am grateful for the legacy that he left to us, and a part of that legacy is his rendition of this song "John Saw a City!" This song is as meaningful today as when it was first written. Thanks again for sharing!
