Good old Margos back, my favourite part timer.
😂
I love the way that guys sits up and says "Cawol" after the gun shot wakes him lol. Judy and Doreen's excuse for fighting .... Ronald Reagan cracked me up! Po Face shouldn't have been allowed to process "Cawol" Lewis.
he's n aussie moite bonza LOL
Never saw Po-Face processing Carol Lewis in this episode. Looks like a spoiler.
Omg I know I had to rewind it and watch it again...
Kinda funny cause now we fight over the president 🤣
Doreen shouting at a brick wall in solitary, now she knows how the others feel talking to her
Good to see someone watching near enough at the same time as me, all the other comments seem to be from years ago lol.
@@beardsgirl I know. I don't know why I never got round to watching this on RUclips until now, I've been flying through episodes. Stopped collecting the dvds around episode 144. At least I'm not the only one who missed this on RUclips when it got originally posted but it's nice to see feedback on episodes from new and old fans who enjoy the series for what it is :)
@@davymania700 yeah it's good to see it's still popular to this day it's a timeless classic, I've just hit episode 300 and I'm loving the story lines since the freaks got in lol 👍
@@beardsgirl Im at 305 at the moment. Familiar faces popping up but glad I dont always remember what happens so still feels an enjoyable journey to watch ☺

that Ronald Reagan part made me laugh... lmao
How is Jenny Powell’s hair still holding it’s crimp after three days?
Make-up department ;)
😂
Stop #hating on Powell's nighty... She rocked it!
😂😂😂
“She insulted Ronald Reagan.” - Judy
😆😂🤣
2020 Doreen insults Trump and Jude wears a MAGA hat and sign that says lesbians 4 Trump.
Erica: As long as they don't insult Margaret Thatcher, I do like her gloves and hair. Very well could've been me but I decided to join corrective services.
Right? Oh how we need him today, pre 84
@@lamontbradford4630 🤣🤣🤣
So what? Everyone else insulted Reagan also, apart from maybe the Americans.
Love the box of OMO washing powder. Gosh that takes me back
Lionel Fellows goes from abortion doctor to sailor to grocery store manager to cop to lawyer to the guy that opens the building that Quinn works in to drug kingpin.
He did get around i bit.
A man of many talents
😂❤️💪🏽
You noticed too...😊
Yes he was on the docks when coulson escaped I would’ve preferred inspector grace though
Arguing over Ronald Reagan ... 🤣🤣🤣
😅😅😅😅
I love this show so much that I'm going to start talking british/australianfor now on.
It's hard to do a believable Aussie accent unless you are born and bred here.
Good. Practice your "veRy well", " elcohol" "meeemo"
Typical of Doreen to get herself sent to Solitary to try and find out who else is in there, only to discover they've moved her and she's all alone !
Wish they would lose the key to her solitary cell
It's getting really old now Bernadette we know you hate her
@@bernadettelamb54 I swear to you,I cannot stand Doreen and her screeching
@@bernadettelamb54 just remember Doreen has had a really rough time, she was raped by that disgusting factory worker.
@@sb6678I thought she stupidly allowed it as an exchange for info about a job contract to help Kevin?
OMG - Doug went through with it! :( I was sure the police would have tracked down the car and and arrive just in time to stop him. Mind you, that's Prisoner: doesn't pull any punches.
When Suzie says she's dumb lol

"Oh, oh, who are the people in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, oh who are the people in your neighborhood, the people that you meet each day." That used to be a song from Sesame Street when I was little.
@ 39', I noticed the wall wobble as Doreen was trying to talk to the Mystery Woman in Solitary. First time I noticed this...
The actor playing Doug does a phenomenal job and is very skilled. The way he talks the way he looks at other people makes me feel so uncomfortable. Great acting on his part
Is he (Martin Phelan) any relation to Anne Phelan?
Doreen is annoying but she can be bloody funny too. The mock fight she had with Judy was hilarious. "Yeah, and it's you bloody Sceptic Tanks to.....!" Crack up!
The fight between Judy and Doreen over Ronald Reagan 😃
"She started it! She insulted Ronald Reagan!"
Powell's see through nighty ^^
Yes she so skinny I think because of the lights it more obvious
So Lionel Fellowes is impersonating a police sergeant now... LOLs
Ronald Reagan??. Door and Jude you buggers! LMAO!
I know it was only a pretend fight but that was a funny scene where Judy attacked Doreen for insulting Ronald Reagan. Love the way that never before seen pipe appears in solitary when Doreen needs to tap a message down to the other women, and why was Doreen tapping out a message with her wedding ring? I thought all jewellery was taken from inmates when they are inducted? But hey this is Prisoner.. and I love it.
Only certain wedding bands are allowed, flat gold or silver ones are fine..mine was removed cause they said the diamond could be a weapon
Doreeen left her wedding ring on the table with Kevin abd she doesn’t even have it anymore so for her to have it now is just odd. She left it on that table and it was taken by kevin.. last we seen it. Definitely not supposed to be iin her possession anymore
*Meg to Bryant, pretending to strangle Doreen:* "Alright, how did this happen?"
*Judy, all steamed up and convincing:* "She insulted Ronald Reagan!"
LMFAO. Meg should have known it was a little ploy with something as ridiculous as that. Plus, Judy and Doreen are mates.
the actor who plays the inspector in this episode was also that creepy sailor Rosalyn Coulson tried to escape with way back.
He also appears as a big king crime boss around the time Myra leaves.
And he did the abortion on Karen Travers
@@louisejenkins7005 and now people think he's inspector Grace too, still it might make his CV look better if he claims he played that character too
Well, he's definitely not Inspector Grace.
And the supermarket manager who employed Georgie Baxter.
Does anyone else like trying to spot which background officers appear in each episode? Spotted Barfield and Sharp in this one.
37:37 Burns is burning stuff..🎶Burn Baby Burn! Disco with doreen🎶
😂😂 @ ''She started it. she insulted Ronald Reagan'' .... I almost spat out my food, lol

I'm starting to feel sorry for Carol. If she killed Doug, than she might end up in Wentworth and have Colleen to deal with.
Boreen's fake squeels as Judy attacks her . Ronald Reagan bwahahahah
WHY the hell does Lizzie always have to shout? She can clearly see they are trying to listen to the radio, but there she is bawling and asking totally pointless questions. Gaffney made a valid point .. your daughter goes missing and you're so worried about her, you go to work.. hmmmm
It was a change to see inspector Grace show a rare moment of upset with Coleen when he couldn't rest over Jenny's kidnapping towards end of episode.
Inspector Grace wasn't in this episode.
Talk about neglegence from Steve. Something you'd expect from Joyce Barry.
Colleen in a semi see-through Nightie - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Madradin ✌✌😒😂😂 no azz
Aye, we got a bit of a glimpse of crotch gap there. Coleen almost in her knickers is my highlight of the first 278 episodes so far.
Never seen a steel pipe in solitary before
14:30 this detective was previously a court barrister and a horse racing commentator on the radio when Margo was listening in for results.
Breaks my heart with little jenny bless her heart xx
Doreen, you've rarely ever been in the pound... What's she talking about?
What's the point in a prison having an isolation block if there isn't enough staff staff to secure it?
An Isolating section is an essential necessity in all prisons for saftey of prisons in danger.
Police authorities have no right to tell a Prison Governor to put someone in solitary confinement in an attempt to get information from them and prevent them from getting legal representation.
Hopefully Carol has done the decent thing at last...the guy's a psychopath who will kill anyone, so hoping to see Carol showing up in Wentworth before long. That'll put the cat among Powell's pigeons...
Det.Ryan nah mate you're Lionel Fellows!!
Liz had the best laugh I ever heard!!!
why or why would anyone think Doreen's plans would ever work?
esp. since her plans consist of burning things.
LMAO Ronald Reagan 😂

37:40 "Arson around?" Very good.
I'm not the only one who's counting down for The Freak
Maybe The Freak's not everyone's cup of tea...a friend says he is going to stop watching when she comes in. Will all be new to me though...I was a PCBH virgin who's managed to clock up 278 episodes in about six weeks. I'm hooked, and no mistake. I've never loved a show as much as this ever, it doesn't date and it's a total classic.
I'm counting down for the grand appearance of The Freak.
Zoe, I'm at 278 also, but in 2 weeks.... Maybe, it's because I've been "binge watching" LOL
I've been counting since the very first episode. I started watching this for The Freak :D
@@zoevincent4762 Glad you enjoyed it, the Freak is iconic and really leaves a massive mark on the series unlike any other character, but at the same time I dread her
"Weasel" makes a good copper....LOL
I thought he had an awful way about him. I just hope he never works in victim support. He didn't even say bye to Po face on the phone, hopefully she soon realises he's a forgery of a detective
Fellows as a plod (Police officer) is madness, #RecyclingActorsAlways.
Ronald Reagan? God, that brings back memories. Sometimes they show what is really going on in the world - the royal story of 1982 was prominent
Steven Cassidy - this probably wasn’t long after he was shot.
About 15 months later.
Wow...since when did the weasel go from forger to inspector? 😂
He forged the script
He at least wore a disguise as the weasel but he's not fooling us. Hopefully Po face will realise he's a fake cop soon.
have undercover
Well they like to recycle their actors lol Kathy who got killed was also the nurse that hated Doreen also Stefan has been 3 characters so far
Doreen's idiotic methods always seem to backfire on her. I feel sorry for Jenny; her innocence brutally taken away. Carol is useless against Doug' demands.
Way-inappropriate nightie for Powell. I thought I was going to heave when they let the light shine through it. Blech! :P
Jenny Powell should have done a Patty Hearst and ended up inside,,image Colleen Powell 😂😂😂
Surely they would have used a stolen car and dumped it straight away.
Definitely would have replaced that beer can after dropping it!
@That last scene was so funny. The writers thought they would play a trick on us and the girls had worked themselves up until a frenzy. Stupid Doreen had to play ball..
41:15 check out Coleen in that see through nightie!! 😮
omg just 9 episodes until the show gets... "freaky" :D
Yay - can't wait! :D
Yessssss
Jennys voice is like nails on a blackboard
Colleen's a very attractive woman, nighty or not! Plus she is a far more sympathetic character since the daughter's abduction. Judith McGrath is a great actress IMO.
35:24 Carol is a freak in her triangle relationship.
Aloud nail polish remover in their cells when it could be used as a poison
I really don't understand why they always put prisoners that they don't want the women to know who they are in solitary because the women immediately know some things wrong, they always eventually find out and they mix the woman in with the others anyway so the whole thing is pointless.
The detective in Davidson's office has already played other characters such as a merchant seaman, barrister, and more lol
So
Wait wait wait
Po face’s daughter has been kidnapped and she continues to work at the prison???
Oh see. Its stuff like this that lets this show down BADLY FFS 🤦🏻♂️
...oh, yea, COLLEEN Mc CULLOCH., " THE THORN BIRDS ".....& other wonderful historical AUSSIE books !!! Way to go, BEA...!! What is-up with DAVOS hair ??
I was lucky enough to meet Colleen when I went to Norfolk island back in 2003. Lovely lady and such a friendly little island.
11:32 - What is he complaining about? That is a Holden HQ station wagon - they last forever. I'll bet the thing is still running laps of the highway to this day on the same spark plugs.
29:38 - OK, you can't use solitary - put Margo in isolation then.
Exact thought i had
"On the same spark plugs"
😂😂😂
That's hoping for a bit too much 😜
Why not put prison X in isolation?
A couple issues with Susie. 1. If she is 15 and getting released on her own is she an emancipated minor? Who decided this? 2. Shouldn't she be in school? Doesn't Australia have a minimum age and or level of education?
She is soon to be 16, which is when they will release her, if she doesn't rack up more time...
At the time it was very common for kids to leave school at 15 and go get jobs. All of my older brothers and sisters did it. My brother was engaged when he was 17 and had moved out. It was a different society in those days.
@@pauliejay4161 Especially in America in the South. They wanted textile mill workers. Minimum wage on production. But now even textile mills want high school graduates or higher.
@@sheriheffner2098 What year are you referring to? Certainly not the eighties maybe during the depression.
I'm so glad jennys rape scene is not as graphic as megs later on..... 😔😔
There's isolation so why don't they send trouble makers there
Out of all the male characters over the years there were a number I hated and made me angry. That bastard, Doug, makes me sick to my stomach.

Ok so Colleen Powell can be a right B***h at times. But despite what ever people have said or done. As a parent myself - I can feel Colleen's pain. 😐No parent should go through this nightmare & torture. She's going to hell and back.
I ain't a big fan of Colleen Powell. But she definitely does not deserve this nightmare. She's trying to cope with things in her own way. Everyone is different and handles things in their own way.
Most of us here - are parents, so u should understand 😐😉
I've been reading so many comments about Colleen's nightgown I thought you typed "But she definitely does not deserve this nightgown".

38:20 can anyone explain how that bog in solitary is flushed? there clearly isn't any kind of cistern. Being in the pound must really guff.
burbercat
Haven't you ever seen a toilet where the cistern is behind the wall.
Loo's like that are in almost every public toilet in shopping centres around Australia, at least.
But then again, as I've repeatedly said on here.. it was merely a simple tv show from the 80's.
And most people tended not to overanalyze every scene on every tv show back then, such as whether a toilet prop was actually hooked up or not.
My toilet here in the US has no cistern. It has a Flushometer instead.
@@ozlass7778 well said!
Might have been on the floor. And they wouldn't have a cistern as they could be used as weapons against the screws when they enter the room
My question is: Why is there no sink and soap to wash your hands? Paper towels.
9:35 what a weird thing to say about your own child. That “Poor little thing”, is your daughter Po face and she’s been abducted by bank robbers. But yeah go to work while child is on fear for her life. Lol smh
Mentioned Ronald Reagan in this episode... wow...
41:23... way too sheer.
Better her than Judy.
Wtf have they got in that van already???!!!
Got to love how the women complain about being inside from time to time as if it's not mostly their own fault! It's always someone else's fault or the world that's against them, as if they are not responsible for themselves and their own choices. They ended up in there for punishment for their own lousy behaviour, and still they don't see it.. lol. I know there are some cases of injustice, but for the most part they end up there of their own doing.
It's a fictional television drama made to entertain and therefore bears little resemblance to real life. Don't let it cloud your view of reality
@@muk8804 I was referring directly to the inmates and characters of WDC in Prisoner... hence "the women". When I watch a show I'm into, I immerse myself in that world. No mention of real life. However in real life we are also responsible for the consequences of our actions. 👍
33:55 Wow Susie thinks she is dumb.
What's the difference between solitary/the pound and isolation?
Kblogg 777. the bed
Isolation is like a regular cell - proper bed, basin and vanity, you can have all your books and buy up stuff with you etc. Solitary is as basic as it gets - sleep on a stretcher, no amusements, no cigarettes etc.
They put this person in solitary and treated it like isolation, simply because solitary was supposed to be the most secure area of the prison.
Solitary is a punishment cell, isolation isn't. In isolation, the cell door isn't locked and you can wander the corridor outside (though the security gates are locked). You can also smoke and get magazines (if you ask nicely).
Doreen lagging on Margo
I thought Doreen didn't like being in solitary.
very well 500 I counted
I'd have had Judy down as a Democrat, not a Republican. Back in the 80s I remember it was quite the norm to insult Reagan just as it was to insult Thatcher. They both seem quite mild now compared to Trump, Truss and Johnson.
Susie infact not be alright. No spoilers
Colleen's so thick, she could just confine them to their cells or put them in isolation instead.
Doreen trying to whisper through a brick wall is pretty much all you need to know about her general level of intelligence
