    These T-rex growls sound a lot like the low frequency growls of crocodilians.

      That is what a T rex is most likely to have sounded like. As it’s vocal guards were really only capable of low guttural noises

      Interestingly, the closest reptilian relative of the T-Rex is the American alligator. I guess now we know where they got the sound from

    Out of all the T-Rex sounds videos, this is the best one so far. It triggered my primal fear of being hunted. I felt like i was about to be eaten.

      @@jaffa3717 We'd be easy pickings without modern weapons. Hell even pistols and rifles wouldn't be able to take out a large theropod unless you damn near emptied the clip at close range on a sensitive area. Lions and crocodiles will attack humans when they're desperate or starving and it would be no different for predators 8x their size.

    Yea, Dinosaurs were fascinating animals. Unlike in some popular Dino-films where you usually hear the T-Rex scream, here you actually listen to it make Croco/Gator-like sounds (even tho they were actually Birds). Great job on creating more realistic sounds!

    That is easily the most terrifying sound I've ever heard from an animal. I know it's not officially what a T-Rex sounded like, but I can't help but give praise to how well made the sound is designed. It literally made me more alert to any possible threat.

    Those godzilla stomps may be too exaggerated due to the padding that t-rexes most likely had on their feet. They would've been sneaky as an elephant today.

      They could be very sneaky if they wanted to. They were ambush predators who used strategy to catch and overpower their prey. That being said, a careless or aggravated T. Rex could probably create quite the thumps. A rapid step from a 20,000Ibs animal will create noise lol.

      Moreover modern day birds have padding on their feet and because Dinosaurs and birds are Ancestors and descendent of each other T. rex would definitely have pads on their feet

    Hey guys it's been a while, so as it turns out, i didn't make this audio unlike my Spinosaurus video. Instead the RUclipsr who made this sound was a channel named "studio" that produces dinosaur sounds and vocalisation with an almost scientifically accurate fashion.
    However i did edit the sequence to make it sound like an ambient series of animal t rex vocalizations.

      The acutal sound a tiger produces while hunting you has a frequency you can't hear, but you feel it and it makes your muscles tense, makes you paralyzed. It is speculated that that's what Tyrannosaurus Rex did too.

    Holy *SHIT* that was scary and unnerving - it made my entire body unconsciously tense up & I didn't realize I was even holding my breath until my lungs started to hurt!!! I swear, this is so much scarier than the iconic Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus roar...😨

    Imagine hearing this in the woods camping with your family your family goes to sleep while your awake. You sit at a bench thats near your tent outside you look to the woods and you hear this 1:07. It echos through the forestsand you see two pairs of white eyes glaring at you. The the tyrannosaurus rex then walks away

    This sound belongs to Julia Clarke's Tyrannosaurus Rex vocalization,a combination of 2 sounds,first is the Eurasian bittern,and last the growling,hissing,and bellows of a Chinese Crocodile.

      A little bit but it wasn’t actually a roar per se but a shriek, it’s like a signal to warn other t-rexes that it is badly injured and needs help.

      @@Jay_Gut001 the way you blended that high note was perfect in my opinion. I can tell its Godzilla (now that its pointed out) but it sounds natural the way it develops. Definitely sounds like a Rex in distress.

    Hate to break it to you, but in theory T rexes DID NOT ROAR! Not unless they were part lion which was impossible because lions haven't evolved yet.

      One thing im positive is that there were very few fat large theropod carnivores but rather slimmer because im sure they were more on the hungry side than being well fed all the time.

      Now they came up with lips, tomorrow its gonna be something else. Paleontologist change opinions but the fact is its all nothing but theories and speculations.
      Astronomers also speculate and many other experts and give theories.

      Im into dinosaurs from 1969 and my very close friend is a paleontologist.
