Berserk can affect anti-magic units too? Damn, I really do learn something new from your video always even though I've been playing this game for years!
There are 5 questions to test you guys: 1. Why I don't bring any of war machines, even an Ammo Cart? 2. Why do I switch my shooter's position in 3:57, even though the Arch Angels are all frozen? 3. Why I don't resurrect all my creatures in the first fight? (If I cast Hypnotize on enemy Arch Angel, he can also resurrect my creatures) 4. Why I bring Master Genies in this fight instead of Dragon Flies? (Maybe the loss of Dragon Flies looks more acceptable) 5. In the second fight, why do I shoot the Zealots in the first round, even though only killed nearly 350 and seems didn't help anything?
well, i'm a noob.. but i think: 1: without the war machines the chances are smaller that an enemy stack will cross over, while without war machines there's a higher chance that they'll all be in a group, easier to berserk. 2: because you want the AA to be in a position where the pond blocks their way to ALL your troops when you start resurrecting them. 3. don't know.. to save mana? 4: maybe because dragon flies lower morale as it combines 3 types of creatures? 5: don't know, all my guesses are stupid! XD
1) machines are target for berserk attack, chart ot ballista will broke archs reposition (but you could bring tent i think, but it useless and 1 more bers) 2) for reposition archs and ressurect at the end 3) dunno, save mana, creatures have already bought 4) already bought, morale, target priority (lvl5 vs lvl 4 mage and pegasi) 5) to force cast defend spell air shield
Berserked targets look only at the nearest hexes from which they can attack their closest target. If those hexes are blocked by an obstacle, the AI simply thinks "I can't go there" and won't move, effectively shutting them down until berserk ends, which is after 250 turns.
I actually forgot that hughes had mass berserk and did not use him at all on this map, made thise battle a bit harder for me, mass beserk is so fucking OP however XD
@@haloneya Haha, I think that's the meaning of Hughes in this map. He can exert well in these fight, but the last several fight he can do nothing because of enemy's Badge of Courage.
@@RichardChen indeed, but I honestly forgot he had the spell, simply becouse this map gives you soooo many heroes to choose from, dont think I ever played a map where things were balanced up so well to make spells and specialty combos work so well, one hero simply does not do well in all battle, as much as one would love to use weina all the time XD
TWO crazy battles in one video? Aww, Richard, you're spoiling us. :D I really like the new background song too!
Haha, seems scary but solved it easy

@@sergeymatveev9106 All right! You must be a master of H3^^
@@chilanya Haha, keep learning to make profection. Everyone starts from noob but you still get 3 right answer (Q1, Q2, Q3). GJ bro^^
6:15 this was calculated too much for my brain
Weird, why is that an "obstacle block" ? There are 2-hexed blocks right next to the Sharpshooter ...
(awesome battles from you anyway (y))

haloneya You should've used him. Many fight will get easier when using mass berserk
@@RichardChen I did realize that towards the end, but since I dislike using it, I found it more fun without it anyways XD
