The beauty in its Africaness is displayed in its richness and diversity. The Hausa ethnicity is one of the most popular and prominent tribal groups in West Africa and has been known to be the cultural background of some of the most prominent people in Nigeria as a whole.
What's not to love about its richness, it's purity, its essence, it's love shared, it's exclusivity, it's peacefulness, it's modesty.
Marriage. Love. The Fatiha. The Bride. She is most beautiful on her day of pride and joy as she's ushered to her new family, her husband during the rites. She is taught respect and love and her husband is expected to shower her with affection and appreciation.

But the fact is people want grand weddings to show off and show out, they have to brag about who came to the wedding, how much was spent at the wedding, take pictures for facebook and instagram to proof to the world how top tier their wedding was....i have seen a lot of expensive weddings that ended in divorce in a few months and/or years......wedding is only a one day affair, its over just like that, once the wedding and reception is over, the dust clears, and then reality of marriage sets in, no more wedding dress, no more videographer, no more bouquet , no more pictures....marriage is a lifetime if one is serious about the concept of marriage, ...in this day and age, marriage has become a joke. thats my 2 cents
Jesus's son it’s up to those who are doing it for the.bragging rights. It doesn’t mean people who can afford an expensive wedding shouldn’t do so just because of all the reasons you gave including that it can end in divorce.
