I was so happy when you said you reuse the bags for selling! Another good environmental thing to do is use microfiber cloths instead of paper towels, they work so good, and you can just pop them in the wash when you need to. Btw I loved this video so much, so satisfying!! :)

I’ve been wondering about the fitted sheet a long time and this is what I’ve come to understand. Where I’m from in Europe we have a duvet, pillow and mattress for which we have a fitted sheet, a pillowcase and a duvet cover. When we change the bedding we wash the fitted sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover, which is easy as they are just fabric with no filling. We might occasionally wash our pillows and our duvets, clean the mattress but that only happens a couple of times a year as they are more difficult to clean.
From what I learned from my US friends and from watching a lot of college move in vlogs is that they buy a comforter which doesn’t have a cover and I would compare to a decorative duvet (please correct me if I’m wrong). Washing a comforter is as difficult or maybe even more difficult than washing a duvet so they have a flat sheet between the fitted sheet and the comforter to protect the comforter. That flat sheet is then washed on a regular basis like how I would wash my duvet cover, together with mu fitted sheet and my pillowcase. I hope that that makes sense 😅

i never understood flat sheets but now i cant sleep without one, it always goes between me and the doona or whatever blankets i sleep with (in summer) it just feels much cozier and adds a bit of warmth

I do thé flat sheet and fitted sheet because then they’re easier to wash regularly compared to the comforter I use. And it’s a texture thing.

The plant where you said you feel like it could have potential but don’t like it, is a monstera🥲 They don’t have any split leaves that young but with age it’ll get there!! Anyway love the new room!
someone told me that! but the monstera cutting i have in another pot is growing so differently like grows upwards with a thicker stems and they’re probably the same age! ugh idk i just gave up hope hahaha
