    HalleluYAH! Thank you George W. Sarris for preaching the truth 'On the housetops' like the bible says we should do! Thank you for helping people understand through wisdom of the Holy Spirit that God's plan has always, always been filled with hope. You are like a star in the firmaments (Daniel 12:3) "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever." God loves you beyond our understanding; and we all will be carried in His arms, in HIS eternity - For He alone is the very definition of eternity. Praise Jesus! Amen.

    I have been asking “Christians” that exact question for several years now; “is God unable or unwilling to save everyone?”. So far I only had one pastor say He is “unable”. I responded with, “then He is not almighty” and the bible is all wrong. Never heard back from the pastor but I hope a seed was planted that is growing in him.
    Peace

    I am so filled with joy listening to this message. I remember watching 23 minutes in hell as a new Christian and feeling awful not knowing if my great grandma was saved. I went into prayer and fasting praying to God that not one person should go to hell. If they only knew Him it would change them. And He revealed to me through scriptures that He saves all. That was in 2008 and I didn’t find like minded believers until 2017. I was scoffed at by so many. But once God had revealed that to my heart with the scriptures, I didn’t care if I stood alone in that belief. It truly is a joy to see this message finally coming forward. God bless you and your work! In Christ’s love, Lisa

    I'm almost certain that "eternal" is a translation error. The proper word is 'everlasting' I thought. Or maybe the word eternal doesn't always mean endless in the same way Aionios can sometimes mean a limited or unknown duration.

    If there is no eternal separation and punishment for the wicked, then why did Jesus have to die on the cross and live a perfect sinless life? If everyone was eventually saved, what was Jesus saving us from? You're teachings don't jive or make sense. God's grace is that Jesus came and died for us while we were sinners. But no decision is as important as the one Jesus highlights in Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

    • @GeorgeWSarris
      @GeorgeWSarris  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment. The quick answer to your question of why Jesus died on the cross and lived a perfect life is so that all mankind would be saved. Jesus said He came to seek and save what was lost. Did He fail in His mission? Will most of the "lost" never be "found?" On the contrary, Christ succeeded in accomplishing what He came to do. He’s not a failure. He is the Savior of the world, not just the Savior of a small part of the world. God told Abraham that all humanity would be blessed through him. God told us in numerous places in the NT that Christ came to redeem all mankind. And He told us what the end would be - every knee will freely bow before Christ, and every tongue will freely confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
      Scripture makes it clear that God's grace continues into the ages to come. In Ephesians 2:6-8 in the context of salvation, Paul says, "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God . . . "
      The only thing I am really saying that is different from what is commonly taught about salvation is that physical death does not mark the end of when God works in the hearts of individuals. Rather, He continues to work in the lives of men and women in the ages to come. Hell is not a substitute for the work of Christ, it is simply another means by which God will - through the ages - bring souls to a point where they recognize their need for Him and His saving grace through Christ. God's love is unconditional. His power is irresistible. And He never gives up!
      God bless!

      @@GeorgeWSarris where does repentance, and being born again fit into this line of thought? Why is there a need to spread the gospel, if everybody gets saved anyways? The Holy Spirit convicts you of your sins, you repent, and are born again through faith in Jesus and his substitutionary death for us. The teaching about Lazarus and the rich man, seems to indicate that once a person has died that there is no more choice to be saved but the wicked are separated from the righteous.

    • @GeorgeWSarris
      @GeorgeWSarris  Год назад

      @@wheelmanjosh1982 You've brought up a few questions - all good, by the way. Let me share a couple of thoughts that I hope will help.
      First, where does repenance and being born again fit into this line of thought? My basic answer is that it's the same way people are saved on earth -- by grace through faith. Why do people repent in this life? Pressures build until they come to a point where they understand the sinfulness of sin, its effects in their lives and the lives of others, and their need for God's saving grace in Christ. In the end, sin always leads to misery. It promises pleasure, success, fulfillment, etc, but always delivers unwanted consequences. That's why it will never last forever. By God's grace, those who harden their hearts will eventually come to understand the real nature of sin. When that happens, they will understand God's goodness and accept His gracious gift. And, as I said in my last note, God doesn't give up. Love never fails.
      Second, Why spread the gospel if everyone gets saved anyway? The message of God’s redeeming love does much more than simply provide a fire insurance policy to keep people out of hell. As people find their place in God’s plan for their lives, they will experience reconciliation with God and with others. They will experience forgiveness of their sins. They will experience power to overcome sinful habits. And they will experience true purpose. The result is the greatest joy and true fulfillment. That’s why it’s called Good News! And those who’ve experienced it for themselves will want to tell others. Also, the traditional concept of hell is actually one of the greatest hindrances to spreading the faith. People find it very difficult to believe that an all-powerful, all-loving God would consign people to endless, conscious suffering because they’re not part of a special group, or because they’ve never responded positively to a message they’ve never heard. Endless suffering is not good news.
      Third, is it true that once a person dies, there is no more choice to be saved? First of all, in the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, the Rich Man was not in Hell. The word translated as Hell in this passage is actually Hades. Jesus said the Rich Man was in Hades, and Scripture specifically says that Hades, as a place of punishment, does not last forever. Revelation 20:13 specifically says that Hades will one day give up the dead who are in it and will itself be cast into the lake of fire. The only verse that seems to limit God to this life is Hebrews 9:27, and that just says that people will face "judgment" after death. It doesn't indicate at all what that judgment is. It's also important to note that the parable was told before Jesus had risen from the dead. A great chasm separated the rich man from Lazarus. But there is nothing in the account that says that the chasm will always be there. Neither Abraham, nor the rich man, nor Lazarus could do anything to make it possible to go from one side of the chasm to the other. That was the purpose of Jesus’ death and resurrection. God bridged the chasm through Him.
      May I encourage you to get a copy of my book, "Heaven's Doors . . . Wider Than You Ever Believed!" It addresses these questons and many, many more. It's written from a clearly Biblical and theologically conservative perspective, and it's not very expensive on Amazon. God bless.

      @wheelmanjosh1982 Год назад

      @@GeorgeWSarris one more thing, people love to sin and do almost anything to avoid personal responsibility for their sins. If everyone will be saved, even after death, wouldn't that tempt people to wait on choosing Jesus, so as to indulge in their sin? Like some people abuse grace as a get out of jail free card to indulge in their sin? Why not send more, so that grace abounds more, sort of thinking? The prospect of judgment and separation for not choosing Jesus, is a powerful incentive to do what is right and choose life.

    • @GeorgeWSarris
      @GeorgeWSarris  Год назад

      @@wheelmanjosh1982 Again, a good question. I'm not saying that Hell is not real, nor that people who go there will not suffer severely. Just because a criminal doesn't get the death penalty doesn't mean that he thinks jail is a wonderful thing! I'm saying that Hell is ultimately temporary, and that there is a positive purpose to Hell. People may choose to resist God's grace, but in reality, it only leads to more misery for them. Salvation is from death and slavery to the sinful nature, not just salvation from eternal conscious torment.
      God's love is the most powerful force in the universe because it is the only power that accomplishes its purposes without coercion. A theologian I was corresponding with some time ago explained that concept wonderfully well: He said, "Divine love (precisely because it is divine) never stops, and it has its ways -- perhaps ways we don't understand -- to coax and persuade (not force) our always imperfect and sinful love to repentance and final transformation."
      I hope this is helpful. God bless.

    2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.2Co 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
    2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

    Mat 26:56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

      @@trevorrussell7001 There is no eternal fire, and there is no hell where Satan is burning people with a pitchfork! Satan only roams the earth seeking on who he may devour! 1 Peter 5:8, Peter gave a firm warning about Satan: “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
      I believe in the second death by fire and brimstone! There is no coming back from the second death because there is no third resurrection mentioned in all of scripture! Don't you know anything about the second death? There is a second type of death in Scripture that is different from spiritual death, and physical death we experience in this life. The second death this is known as eternal death. In the Book of Revelation we read.
      V
      The one who has an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death (Revelation 2:11).
      Unless spiritual death is reversed in this life, the result will be eternal death. This is unending separation between God and all who reject Him. Believers are not affected by the second death.
      V
      Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years (Revelation 20:6).
      The final judgment, or the lake of fire, is the time when the second death occurs.
      V
      Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death (Revelation 20:14).
      The second death is reserved for unbelievers. Those who experience this death are all those whose names are not found written in the Book of Life.
      V
      But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death (Revelation 21:8).
      Eternal death, or the second death, is the ultimate form of separation. If a person dies in a state of spiritual death, they enter eternity separated from God. This is the second death. Once a person has experienced the "second death" there is no hope for them, it is irreversible. Physical death is the separation of the body from the spirit. Spiritual death, the way all of us are born, is the spiritual separation of each of us from God. Eternal death, or the second death, is the eternal separation of a person from God.
      Luk 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,Luk 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
      Luk 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:Luk 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
      Luk 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
      Luk 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
      Luk 13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
