So our choice is just a relation but not something that is caused or created. But it is our choice. But isn't the relation caused or dependent on something that is created by Allah because if it is then we still have the exact same problem of Al jabaria. Please explain

No our choice is by our will which Allah has gave us and allowed us to choose what to will, instead of making us do such and such.
I hope this answers your confusion. If you’re anymore confused please reply 😁

Salam Alaikum Brothers, you said that anything that can’t be thought of in the mind like a square circle is impossible but cant we say the same about god, because anything we think about can’t be god

      Wa 'Alaykum as-Salām.
That's not really the crux of the issue. The crux is that of a logical contradiction. We can't imagine a squared circle because it's a logical contradiction and because of this contradiction we can't conceive it but this is not the case of God. When we affirm God's existence, what logical contradiction do you get? None at all. Infact there are philosophical/logical arguments that prove God's Existence because a Necessary being must exist, no other way. So if someone denies or says a necessary being doesn't exist then they're affirming a contradiction themselves like affirming a squared circle because it is rationally inconceivable for a Necessary being to stop existing as Necessary by it's virtue can't stop existing.
If you still don't understand, read slowly.

@@recomended4494 but isn’t it a contradiction because Allah made it like that and made our minds understand it as such, but how do we confirm that it is impossible for Allah to create things that may be contradicting according to our limited intellect that Allah created for us

@@sucatoe Nahh, an impossible thing is logically impossible. It is not and it can't be. It has nothing to do with God or God's omnipotence. This is where the course lacks abit because Sh didnt go over the 3 rational rulings. Possible, impossible and necessary. Allah only made our minds with intellect, after that we can use it to determine was is impossible or not. For eg, 2 +2 = 5 is wrong and will be wrong everywhere at every place and every time. This is what we call logic and logic is not a box or a thing that exists outside or inside the universe. Its just a tool for us to have meaningful conversations for eg im following law of identity rn while talking to you. Law of identity is a law of logic. If i dont follow that then i can write ajdhslwwkekebsksxxj and it would make perfect sense to me but not to you. All of thw languages folllow the law of identity.

@@sucatoe How do we confirm that is impossible for Allah to create it?
Thats the point. An impossible things holds a logical contradiction. A square has 4 sides by the virtue of what a square is and a circle has no sides by the virtue of what a circle is. They both can't be combined. It leads to what? A contradiction which we call as absurdity. It has, as i said before too, absolutely nothing to do with God's omnipotence because remember Sheikh said God's Will and Power only pertains to possible beings. A squared circle is not a possible being Therefore God's omnipotence wouldn't relate to it. The same is with necessary things, God's omnipotence doesn't relate to necessary things.
Now you'd ask, isnt this bad because we're hindering God's omnipotence? Well no because if you analyze then a necessary thing is smt that already exists and it must exist. It is not and can not not be. So its redundant or useless because necessary thing will always exist because its necessary.
As for impossible, again if we go back to the definition of impossible what do we get? It is not and it can't be. So God can't create an absurdity because it goes against logic, it goes against how we understand and communicate things. It doesn't have any effect on God's omnipotence thats why we say God's omnipotence only relate to the possible because out of all 3 options, the other 2 are not logical.

By necessary thing in the second last paragraph, it applies to all necessary beings and truths for eg, 2 + 2 = 4 is a necessary truth. God didn't create it because its necessary, its always gonna be there in our minds because it follows the laws of logic through which we communicate properly. Remember logic is NOT a thing that exists somewhere.
