Lindsey Stirling's Roundtable Rival was one of my first real music videos as a director. On set, we had a few difficult challenges to overcome.

About this Video:
In 2014 I was hired to direct a music video for the song Roundtable Rival, by Lindsey Stirling. I had just finished my second feature film, and didn't have a lot of experience directing music videos, but I was up for the challenge. Lindsey Stirling and I collaborated on writing the concept, designing the visuals, and bringing the story of Roundtable Rival to life.
In this video, I breakdown the challenge of taking the intense dance choreography from an indoor studio, out to the sand in the dessert. Lindsey and all of the dancers had to work hard in the dirt to pull together all the shots for the video.
This video was shot in Lander's California at White Horse Ranch. The Music Video for Roundtable Rival has close to 300 Million views! We shot the video on the RED EPIC camera, with Panavision lenses.
