    The Swedish National Heritage Board to the Environment Court (where the Nobel Center case have been brought ) sept 5 2017: "The Nobel Center (by Chipperfield) would cause a major and permanent damage to the national cultural heritage" !

    I have no respect for this man or the pseudointellectual sycophants that choose to support him! He did a terrible job with the New Museum. The Stüler building used to be one of the wonders of Old Berlin (i.e. before WW2 left it in ruins). But instead of paying homage to the genius of Friedrich August Stüler, Chipperfield chose to bestow posterity with one of these generic reconstructions ("with the splendour of a public toilet") that can be found all around post war Germany ... believe me! ‒ One can only hope that the Stockholmers have the good sense to sack that botcher of an architect, before he destroys their historic inner city with a new Nobel Museum that has neither beauty nor proportion!
