Kashmiri poetry has a rich history of meaningful lyrics reflecting the strong idiom of cultural prospect and value but unfortunately recent kashmiri singers have deviated from tradition and they are adopting lyrics from younger, inexperienced so called writers compromising the depth and essence of our strong Poets like Mehmood Gami, Faakhar , Habibullah Nowshahri, Rasul mir , Walliula Mattu , Mehjoor ,Abdul ahad azad,so we are yet to explore the powerful creativity of such poet's. As i have not mentioned sufi Poet's that spirit is beyond the imagination.I m not against to any writer but being concious and well known about the adaptive environment i know we are exploring uncertain attitude of lyrics. I hope the above singer Afaq will take a serious note about it.
