Sembrando semillas para la seguridad (Planting seeds for security)

In rural areas of Guatemala, hundreds of teenagers and their families are exposed to the possibility of healthier lifestyles, increased environmental education, an introduction to recycling culture, and greater food security, thanks to the collaboration between the Population Council and Coca-Cola FEMSA in Guatemala. This collaboration has enabled the distribution of garden kits to 750 families in Chisec and Momostenango, covering a total of 20 communities. While the kits are designed for the benefit of the entire family, the primary users are girls and adolescents aged 14 to 17.
