This was the first song/video where Chance had a lead in a song after joining the group. Tim and Jenika were married in December 2016. My hubby and I share an anniversary with them. ☺️ Love the live video! I’ve never seen that one! Love how Chance and Rob’s antics! Home Free had actually known Chance prior to him joining the group. Jenika and Chance knew each other before either knew anyone else in the group. That tidbit was revealed in one of their Home Away from Home videos early on. I’d love to see you check out a video on Tim’s channel. It’s a tribute to Sean Altman. It’s a collaboration including Earl Elkins (formerly of Voice Play), Jeremy Lister (Streetcorner Symphony - Chance’s former group), Tom Anderson, and Dave Baumgartner. It’s really good!
When I first people about Home Free, they always want to know what genre they cover. Evidently "YES" is not a proper answer. But then they listen to several songs and they get it. It's not that Home Free doesn't fit in anywhere, but that they fit in EVERYWHERE! Thanks for all of the reactions, I truly appreciate how you approach your descriptions because you hear things that most of us miss. ❤
Absolutely one of my favorite songs they've covered. This was I believe one of Chance's first songs. I think his 1st was a cover of Shakira's "Try everything".
I love this song. I didn’t know it until Home Free did it. I don’t know exactly where the waterfall is but I heard that’s where Tim proposed to Jenika. It’s such a beautiful song and the boys killed it. Loved every singer. Loved the bass and yes, Adam was great. Good reaction Qofy. Loved the video but the live version was good too. The sound is so full.
Always great to see another Home Free reaction from you, and it's such a beautiful song. This was when Tim and Jenika announced their engagement, and the setting for the video is in Oregon - this was still a FifGen video. It was the first lead that Chance did (fortunately for us the first of many), about 4 months after he officially joined the group. (His first video, Try Everything, was when Chris was still touring with the group, and he was with them on tour learning the arrangements, choreo etc.)
Cymbal crash? Adam keeps surprising me because you have to pay attention. My friend Andrea plays bass at her church and I gave her a compliment by saying I didn't notice her during the hymns. She just smiled because she's there with the drummer to keep it all together, not to be noticed. But she can certainly lay down a great R&B line when its her turn to shine. Adam's like that, he puts the song first and has the confidence in his own talent that he can let the others show off.
This song played on my Spotify playlist this morning on the way to work. Such a beautiful song. I must have needed to hear it a few times today 😊 Great reaction as usual. You always teach me something new about the music I already love. Helping me to appreciate it even more.
Loved your playing the same song live! They all seem like good friends. Became a new sub tonight. Love Home Free and being one of thousands of Home Fries 🤩
Qofy, you should start taking sponsored singing requests on your live stream. You actually have the chaps for it. Tim and Jencika recreated their engagement at the exact location for this video. thanks for the reaction.
The 'from the vault' of this video is really fun & funny - if you haven't already seen it, watch it after you've had a hard day. Thanks for playing these - I hadn't seen the live version before! By the way, you mentioned in "Travelin Soldier" that Chance & Austin rarely harmonized together and I'm guessing it's because Chance has a softer voice and Austin is a power tenor - unless Chance was heavily amplified or Austin muted, Chance's voice would be overpowered. Just a guess . . .
Knowing how much you like the harmonies, you should watch Helplessly Hoping. And I don't know how you missed Do you hear what I hear when you covered their Christmas songs. Some other notables would be their version of Bye Bye Bye, their live Timeless & Try Everything mashup, Heaven and When You walk in. Love your reactions.
Hi Qofy! I am becoming almost as big of a Home Fry as I am a Pentaholic! They are really awesome!!! Sorry Iv been missing some live streams! Health issues, as usual. The ONLY thing better than hearing HF first thing in the morning is hearing your sweet voice reacting to them. Thank you QoFy!
Aww love you Angela

I think YES is the best answer 😁
YES is the best answer I agree haha
Love the double reaction!! Always great to see the studio vs. The stage.
I love Chance's natural vibrato, and you really hear it in this live version. Love it!

So brilliant!!
I think this is when Tim proposed (and Jenika said yes, of course) 🥰🥰🥰.

Tim is such a romantic... sigh
Thanks for checking this beautiful song 🥰
Awesome reaction - and you've got a pretty good voice yourself! I hadn't seen a live version of this song, so thanks for including it.
Thank you for doing a video of my request. Your the best qofy.
Any time
Shoutout to you for the request! And you (& all of us!) got 2 for 1! Jackpot! Thanks!!!

Aww haha I’ll think about that Vinnie great idea!
Well done! Thanks!
Great reaction
This video was done just before Tim and Jenika got married. Chance joined singing in the group in 2016.
Ah, romance! So sweet.
This is so romantic, Jenika is so lucky
We all enjoy a good love song, don’t we! #HugeSmile
Now I advise you to watch "Home Free - From the Vault - Episode 5 - Die A Happy Man". It's 😍🤣
Was just about to suggest this, you beat me to it!

Tim’s wife Jenika Marion has her own channel. Check out “Hello Sun” or the Hound + Fox version of Tim’s “Winter Song” that features Jenika.
Tim and Jenika also did a song together with Hound+Fox called The Good Stuff
I love Hello Sun.

This is the area where Tim proposed to Jenika (his now wife ‼️)

This was filmed in western Oregon very close to where I live.

The original was by Thomas Rhett. Thomas wrote this song for his wife Lauren. Check out Thomas' video.
